Whats scary is anyone with $49.95 can log onto a website in the white pages of these internet search sites and get info they want.The sites arent shut down because it supposedly doesnt violate the freedom of info act.It gives id theft cons a head start on getting that data,without going through paperwork and visiting govt buildings.These information places make millions each year on selling private data.Its big business to know anything on everyone.Not only is the federal govt doing it but everybody from potential employers,disgruntled neighbors,stalkers, to illegal aliens getting fake id cards.Ive even heard of companies posing as insurance carriers trying to get private medical data.Its no wonder id theft and hackers are such a big problem.Just about all the info they need to start is a click away.
and p.s. still try and get that gun back.They have no legal reason for holding it if they arent pressing charges.
