Favorite Rifle?

For some 30 years I've grumbled around between two pets. One is a Weatherby in .30-'06, but it is getting a bit heavy for mountain walking. It's a 3/4 MOA critter. The other is a little Sako carbine in .243, weighing in fully dressed at seven pounds; it's a 1/2 MOA critter.

Still grumbling, but I reckon everything else will be sold off long before I'd part with either of those two...

My favorite rifle is my Enfield No.4 "Tanker". It shoots like a dream, and it was the first rifle I've ever owned. I know it'll be around for as long as I am around.

"oooh" that's like asking which hot girlfriend who loved you was your favorite... I'm gona need more wisdom before I can make that decision.

Favorite one out there for some years now is also (finally) the favorite one I own: The Ruger No.1 International in .243 Win.

A super compact little carbine with ultra-stylish looks in the very versatile .243 caliber. I put a 12x Leupold on it and can now use 70gr Nosler ballistic tips to pink-mist varmints or 100gr Sierra Gamekings to bring down E. Tennessee whitetail, all with one of the most aesthetically pleasing rifles on the planet. Life is good. :)

Marlin 336 .35Rem.
Gun and scope are both older than me.
Gun shoots very well but the main reason it's my favorite is...
It was my Dad's gun:D

Favorite "everything" rifle is a Remington Model 7 in .308. Additions include an H.S. Precision stock, and a Leupold VX-II 2-7X compact in Leupold bases and rings. I have other rifles, some more accurate, quite a few more expensive. But this would be the one I'd want to part with last.

Got to be my Remmington 700 BDL in .270 with a Leupold 3-9x40 scope on it. It is my first hunting rifle, other than that my 10/22 is pretty fun to shoot.
