Favorite Handgun That You Ever Owned

At the moment it would would be my Ruger MKIII Hunter, loaded up with VQ parts. Usually was my 686 in 6", really love to shoot it but HATE to clean it. Next week may be a different post!

Maybe kahr T9, GP100, or Ruger MK II. It is so hard to choose because they all fit such different roles.
If I ever find a deal on a stainless single six convertible that will probably take the pie.

Absolutely my old issue 4" S&W model 10 HB that I was issued in Cleveland. I bought the gun when I left there for $105, and will NEVER get rid of it; it's been in some 'dark places.'
Whichever one of my sons becomes a police officer will get that gun when I pass on, and the other will get my father's Jap rifle that he took from a Jap he killed on Tarawa.
Both my sons are/were Marines. Oldest just got out after 5 years, youngest in training now to be a forward observer.

I'm gonna have to split my vote between two:

S&W 4" model 19, which was my first handgun I bought for myself as a senior in HS. My Dad filled out the forms for me.

Sig P220 that has been such an incredibly accurate and reliable performer since I bought it in the mid-80's.

Bren Ten

Second would be the very first S&W 6 1/2" screw .44 magnum I bought and still have.

Colt King Cobra, .357 Magnum, 6" stainless

Simply an awesome gun. But if I ever get a Python, the KC may go to 2nd place...

My stainless Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. It was my first handgun. I haven't shot it much in the last four years but it is the only handgun I have any sentimental attachment to.

Man! This is hard! S&W Mod.28 or29, or My Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP! Now, I'm learning to love my new Ruger P-95.......:D

Hands down, six inch barrel 357 magnum Dan Wesson with the heavy barrel shroud.

But the Smith Model 10 I own now and have for fifteen odd years is a great replacement.

Old,ugly and makes me look good everytime I shoot it.

She's a keeper.:)

Six barking dogs for the burgular.;)

stainless steel Ruger Old Army.

Absolutely useless gun, but cheap to feed (old wheel weights, little pyrodex and a cap), but an absolutely hilarious gun to shoot.

I like going to the outdoor range when all the glock and ar15 crowd is blazing away, that first BOOM and the smoke cloud sure gets a dirty look, but by the end of the day EVERYONE wants to shoot the thing.

This where I am split. I have two firearms, and like them for completely diverse reasons.

One of them is Tussey stainless 1911 he did for me in 1984. Not only is it a fine shooting Colt, but it is the first one he did for me, and he told me it's the first stainless model he attempted.

The second is a SW 629-5 with a lug barrel. Of all the firearms I have ever handled this individual piece is the most perfect I have seen. It cycles like a Nikon camera, the fitting of cylinder-yoke-frame is seamless, it doesn't even have a single cosmetic mark.

One is a sentimental 'keep,' the other is just a perfect specimen.
