Favorite Handgun That You Ever Owned

Favorite?

My uncle's bring back of a German Luger from WWII. All matching numbers, etc. and in excellent condition (with holster too).

Fn-High-Power 1940s manufacture. First auto pistol I ever bought. Had a bunch since then and still my go to gun.

Changes several times per year.
Usually, the one I am currently carrying or the one I shot last.
By either measure, that would currently be my Knmber Pro Eclipse 4" in .45 acp.

My favorite is the next one. Oh you mean of the ones I have or have had ? I think that would probably be my Kimber Custom II. Great gun that doesn't feel like a piece of fine art and it goes bang every time.

I have and have had MANY favorite handguns, but my semi-custom Smith & Wesson 4506-1 will always be at the top of my collection.

I'd say the one I take the most pleasure in operating is my S&W 617 - revolvers are nicer to work with (IMO) than semi-autos in the first place, and the 617 is smooth and laser accurate.

Without a doubt my S&W Model 28-2. My first and most trusted revolver, I shoot it better than any other handgun.

My favorite would have to be the Ruger Blackhawk .45colt/.45acp. convertible. It fits my hand great with or with out the Hogue grip. The Hogue makes it feel like two diferent guns, and I love both of them. I love the weight of it and the feel. Being convertible is nice too.

A Hi-Standard Dura-Matic M-101 .22LR, not because of the gun but the memories associated with the first pistol I ever owned. It was an entry level plinker with a one piece plastic handle that had a nasty habit of fracturing at the recoil lug. (While at college, I traded it for a like-new Ruger MkI target model that the owner had butchered trying to improve the trigger. I installed a Volquatzen trigger group. And, as of yesterday, it's still a good shooter.)
