Favorite gun?

I know it isn't a rifle but I always grab my ol 870 wingmaster. If was to grab a rifle I'd take my 7600 gamemaster in 3006. I'm a pump guy what can I say!

Uh, what is your favorite shirt for working, going to church, going to a dance club, playing tennis or whatever?

What are you asking for and why? If you only have one gun you are limited to that gun but if you have a choice you aren't likely to use the same for everything. Well most of us aren't, you might.

I was wondering what your favorite gun was not including categories, meaning it can be any gun. I meant to put it in the general discussion section.

What is your gun of choice for home defense, hunting, target shooting or whatever?
DPMS Sportical with BadgerSTAB handguard, hogue pistol grip, and rock river 2 stage trigger for all three :D

My favorite would have to be the Model 94 Winchester .30-30 but it's not the one I would pick if I had to choose only one.

Mine, as simplistic as it sounds, is an M4 with rail system, bottom mounted m203 and a eotech holographic sight.

Wasn't it Savage that made that old over-under .22/20ga? Well, who ever made it; if I had to buy one gun for all the purposes listed that's what I'd have.
My personal favorite gun for those uses now would be my Marhoff & Sohns drilling - 16gaX16gaX.22 Savage HighPower Ackley Improved.

Either my AR or my GI Carbine for social work at home.

Hunting? Depends on what I'm after. .223 for prairie dogs and coyotes. 7mm08, nowadays, for Bambi. .243 for Bambi, if that's my mood; it's good for coyotes, also.

I don't do target shooting except for sight-in and load development.

"Whatever"? Well, whatever seems righteous at the time. An old schutzen .22 is fun, as is my Walther Model 2. Hit all sorts of small things at 25 to 40 yards. Filling an empty beer can with water and using my bolt-action .223 can be entertaining. Meddling around with an old Garand is sorta fun; mostly just killing rocks "somewhere over yonder". :D

Ruger no.1a in .243 for deer hunting.

Browning Maxxus 12 guage 26" barrel, duck blind camo for ducks.

Browning Silver Lightning 12 guage for clays if I ever shoot them.

Ruger sp101 in .327 federal magnum for home defense.

Ruger Blackhawk in .327 federal magnum for handgun hunting.

It may seem I am ga-ga for Ruger but it really isn't true, the ones I have are good ones though. Well built and shoot fine.

An M4 would be handy all around ,but if you can handel a bit more weight a AR10 type carbine in .308 would do it all includeing game up to elk . I sure would hate to fire one off in a house though . In a pinch you could make do with only 3 firearms ,a shotgun ,a .308 rifle, and a high cap 9mm pistol . Haveing only 3 firearms would be a drag though nevermind only 1.:(

For a multi use I like the lever action rifles in .30-30 like the Winchester 94 or Marlin 336. You can do most things with these rifles that you would actualy need to do plus they are simple, compact and handy and don't look too agressive.

That's easy for me -

Winchester 95 in 30-06

That's a purdy rifle up there.

My favorite as in most used, mini 14. It's in my hands so much that the hand grip is like polished glass and the fore ARM is pretty close to it

Arsenal SGL-21 AK-47.

MI quad rail
Krebs rear sight rail
M16a2 flip sight (stock with Krebs rail)
fenix TK15 weapons light
EOTech 512.a65
Tapco vertical short grip
AK-74 muzzle break
Mako pistol grip
Tapco G2 trigger
AK-127B Bayonet (optional :D )

It would stop a person just fine I assume, AKs have a reputation of doing that.
It can hunt just about any animal in the world (via 30 rd mag).
And i have fun shooting paper with it aswell.

Not only that but I just have a soft spot for it, Ive had it for a while now and im still in love with it. Its also my EDC gun... bolted to my back seat where ever I go.

My favorite all around rifle is my .22lr, it has a sweet trigger, balances well, it's accurate enough to occasionally win matches against heavy target rifles, light enough to carry all day on a hunt, cheap to shoot when not using RWS R50, and I think it looks nice.
