Hi all!

I currently carry my Glock 43 as my daily carry, thinking of carrying my Glock 19 or going out and buying a Glock 26... Any opinions? - doesn't HAVE to be Glock, but as you can tell by my signature, I'm a Glock fanatic.

Thanks in advance!

Stay safe out there

"Haven't started carrying yet, but I'm curious about gun/holster combinations"
Well RolandD as you can see in my signature, I carry a Glock 43 everyday with my Alien Gear IWB holster, I would NEVER go with another holster again in my life... It's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it, plus it conceals TOO well (as if that's really a thing)

I'm curious to see what others think

Your Sig is what made me think of it. I keep finding more and more brands and styles of holsters, but keep coming back and comparing them to the Alien Gear. I'm half tempted to make my own, but their price is so reasonable, it's not worth the trouble.

Well, that will start a long round of photos and notes, so I'll get started. :) CZ P-09 with Cajun Gun Works Pro Package in a High Noon Close Encounter hybrid rig. Works great. As for buying another gun, if you want to, go for it. I am no great fan of Glock, but they are durable reliable sidearms, and it should serve you just fine. Personally I'd go with the 19 for more grip and barrel. A top quality holster and belt, like High Noon, will help it disappear easily.

Really liked my Glock 26 but for me, single stack is the only way to go for IWB carry. I sold my Glock and picked up a Kahr CM9.

I went through the same decision myself recently, 19 or 26. I went with the 26 and should be picking it up this week. Either gun wouldn't be that hard to conceal, as long as you wear a somewhat loose cover garment. I carry my CZ-85(all steel, full size 9mm) in an Aliengear IWB holster every day and no one is the wiser.

I have smaller hands so the small size of the 26 wasn't too much of an issue for me.

Go with the 26, I like mine so much I have two. It has the advantage of capacity over the 43, & runs any GLOCK 9mm mag including the 33 rounder.

That's HUGE, yes, it's a chunky little beast but I can conceal mine easily. :)

Sig 290RS. It disappears under a shirt, it's very comfortable to shoot because of its weight, and I've never had a problem with any kind of ammo being shot through it.

It's a single stack, so carry a spare mag and ammo count with one in the chamber is 13.

Custom S&W 360J convertible, I pocket carry this gun several days a week. I had Pinnacle High Performance rechamber the original cylinder to 9x23, I usually shoot 9mm or .38 Super out of it, and fit a second titanium .38spl cylinder so I can switch them when I want. It's a terrific little gun, been shooting and carrying it for almost 8 years.

Honestly, I never wanted to and still don't want to like / love Glock. But I do. My entire self defense being is 100% with them. It's my "gun enthusiast" side that's always fighting it.

The 19 is one of the most perfect concealed carry handguns in the US today. If Glock made a gun the same size at the 19 that was a .45ACP. I'd be in heaven

With that said, the 19 is great to be coupled up with the 26. The 43 is also gaining tremendous momentum. I keep seeing them pop up in the hands of highly reputable trainers and law enforcement buddies of mine carry it off duty with a spare mag or two.

Either or will be great next to your 19. :)

Constantine, I had to laugh because that's the way I feel about my Keltec PF9. I don't want to like it but it goes wherever I go.

Haha! Yes! I know, ask the ones who know me well on here. I don't ever want to like / love them, but I do. My SIGs? Would rust. My HKs? Don't do it all for me. My 1911s? I love but they're high maintenance and heavy for m active lifestyle.

Glock? I can sweat on, take kayaking and running and just about anything without a worry in the world and then come home and attach my WML and call it a day. If need be, a detail strip can be done within 2 minutes.

*sigh*

Man alive, do I ever know that feeling!

Glock 30s. Almost exactly the same size as the 19.
I'm in the same boat with Constantine on this. My problem with the 30S is that is uses that silly mag-extension-grip thingamabob. I don't like those. I want a full grip, dagnabbit.

But to respond to the OP: My EDC is a Gen 4 G19. It's also the one and only 9mm that I own. I have other pistols for carry, but my G19 gets far and away more holster time than anything else. I use a proper gun belt, a Crossbreed Supertuck in horsehide, a spare magazine on the weak side, and it's ridiculously comfortable.

Amen to that! I ditched the HK USP 9 Compact for that reason. Mag changes would pinch. No time for that lol. Some people, from what I'm hearing and seeing have issues with the 30 pinching their hands while shooting.

A Glock 19 sized .45ACP would be my dream.

But the 19 is by far the most ideal and realistic 9mm concealed carry weapon. Going to go wash my mouth out with soap now.

I normally carry a 17 and a 26. A perfect pair. :)

I have a couple of 42's, and they convinced me not to bother with the 43's. The 26's just make more sense.

I also have a couple of 19's, and while I shoot them just as well as any of the others, I never really got their place in the scheme of things. The 17's carry just as easily, and the 26's will go where the 19's cant. I also find the 19's grip to be cramped, and my pinkie annoyed. At least with the 26, I can wrap it underneath.

My CZ P-07 Duty is my #1, and unless something drastically improved comes along that trips my trigger, it'll stay there. Almost identical in size to the Glock 19, and a dream to shoot and carry (for me anyway).
