favorite .22lr

Hello!
This isn't to bash others choices or to put down any rifle. I simply want to see what
.22 lr rifle is ur favorite!!
Mine is a win 250 deluxe!! 0r my ruger 77/22!! Realy depends on what I'm going to use it for that given day!

My favorite. 22 is my newly rebuilt 25yo 10/22. I added a green mountain fluted bull barrel, volquarsten hammer and Mueller APV scope. With fiocchi match ammo it will shoot consistent .75" 10 shot groups at 50 yards.

I have two 22lr's. One is a Savage mk2 with open sights, and a Henry H001 with a cheap tasco rimfire scope on it. I would have to say the Henry is my favorite. Its accurate, light, and feels natural in my hands.

That's a hard question, depends on what I'm doing.

If I want to get serious with my 22 shooting I'd say my Anschutz 1807,

Then again shooting prone I'd say my H&R 5200, its a good trainer for my Model 70 1000 yard rifle, both set up pretty much the same.

For plinking or just fun, its a toss up between my Wincherster Model 62 & 63.

For light Rifle Matches or training for CSM-GSM vintage malitary rifle shooting I'd have to go with my CZ 452 Military Trainer..................since I shoot it the most, I guess if have to name one it would be the CZ 452.

Golly Gee Willikers. Decide, huh? OK, my Ruger 10/22M for hunting and my Win 62A for fun. Got 'em both brand new, all those years ago. Nice "feel good" thread.

Good! That's what I was hopeing for here. Sometimes we get caught up in the expensive highend things that we for get about the nice little guns that give us so much pleasure!!

Ruger 77/22 in 22LR

(they also made them in 22 Hornet and 22 Magnum, I believe)

It was a close call between this and my brother's Marlin 39M. But since it is my brother's and not mine, I guess it is the 77/22. Very accurate, and the most slick and solid bolt action I've ever seen on a 22. Rumor has it, Ruger used this same action for a 77/44 at one point...

I have two Browning Semi-Autos. One is a Grade 1, Belgium made and the other is a Grade 5, Japanese decent. I like both, but my favorite of the two is the Belgium model. I think it is because of the simple look vs. the more fancy Grade V. They are both real jewels.

When i was just a kid, I had a Remington Nylon 66.
If memory serves, it was accurate and reliable, but hard to clean
I have no idea where it is today

Favorite 22 lr

My Remington Mod 37 Rangemaster with either Redfield Palma Sights or Weaver K4 . A real dream at 3 position or off the bench.:D

My Savage/anshutz model 164, made in West Germany, crowned free-floated barrel, Monte Carlo cheekpiece, cut skip line checkering, all on a .22 !! It doesn't get any better than that--plus, with the Mueller APV variable--it's a tack driver
