Evil Pawn Shop Guy strikes again,,, Pics are posted now.

I'm telling you ....just buy the darn place...

But wouldn't that then make aaron the EPS Guy? Who would he complain about? Would he be known as the self-hating Evil Pawn Shop Guy:p

Very nice looking gun, beauty marks and all

I haven't named her as yet,,,

One can't be hasty about a name,,,
I'll need to shoot her at least one time,,,
Then I can ponder on a name that suits her perfectly.

With those "mother of toilet seat" grips,,,
She really does have a Louisiana pimp look to her,,,
Were there any truly famous prostitutes from that general area?

Great buy Tax/title & everything else for $300. He knows you'll be back, and buy more. Especially if you keep buying them, he'll keep knocking a bit more off the price. That's why he's the evil pawnshop guy. lol

Hello Ike666,,,

Hmmm,,,
Lily Langtree,,,
Mistress to English Royalty,,,
Not a bad suggestion at all my friend.

And here I thought she was merely an actress.

I was considering Libby after Libby Thompson,,,
She was a prostitute based in Dodge City, Kansas,,,
She was also the long time Madam of a brothel in Sweetwater, Texas.

One rumor has it that she might have been the inspiration for Miss Kitty of Gunsmoke fame.

But I'm in no hurry,,,
A good name takes a while to settle on.

Thanks for the suggestion though,,,
It's been put on the short list.

That is the true square butt, that is the square part is steel, not just a grip with a wood filler on a round butt gun. I carried that same Model 36 variation (without the pearl grips) for years as a deputy sheriff, and never felt unarmed even when some of the other guys went to plastic pistols and zillion round magazines.

Hello James K,,,

I have two J-frames in round butt,,,
One is a model 36 snub-nose in .38 Special,,,
The other is a 4" Nickel plated Model 34 in .22 LR

I now have three J-frames in square butt:
One is a Model 34 snub-nose in .22 LR,,,
One is a 4" Model 63 in .22 LR,,,
Last is this new one.

I use my Model 34 snubbie as an understudy to the Model 36 snubbie,,,
By accident I discovered that Pachmayer Compac grips have the same external shape,,,
I bought round butt for the .38 Special and square butt for the .22 and they now feel identical in my hand.

I'm tickled to death to have found this little gun,,,
I love the 3" barrel and the square butt fits my hand very nicely.

I'll not get to shoot it until Sunday,,,
Tomorrow is my blitzing the humble abode day,,,
I hate it when life's necessities get in the way of recreational pursuits.

There are a few less than reputable characters in my lineage which may explain my opinion on the MoP grips. I like them and believe they capture the individuality of the new girl just fine. General Patton's opinion notwithstanding I don't think any conclusions about the old girl should be drawn from her attire.;)

You think you've got it bad with your Evil Pawn Shop Guy?
I am a pawn broker. Can you imagine the temptations I endure?
Or more accurately, succumb to? :D

Sweet gun Aarond!! Looking forward to seeing the leather setup your gonna make. That revolver will probably be a hit with the kids when you take them out to shoot.

Was in town a couple of weeks ago with the wife for a Dr. appntmt, but she wasnt in the mood for me to be playing at the Evil Gun Shop:( Gonna have to make a trip and stop by. With the weather turning cooler, will need to get out and bust a few caps myself!! GO POKES

Very nice. I am a fan of blued revolvers with "character." Too bad I can't shoot 'em worth a hoot. Working on that. As far as a name, Minnie White was a madam outta Storyville, in New Orleans. That would be in keeping with the MoP grips, which are white, and the Patton comment. Wheels within wheels. Anyway, once again, nice find, and good on you for getting a deal on it. Enjoy.
