Everyones favorite knife

I always carry a Gerber neck knife, Swiss Army sportsman, Buck linerlock , it's the first one they brought out. Fixed; K-Bar, Gerber4in, and on my gun belt a Randal 6in kitchen blade, it match's my Ruger 5in V-Bisley. Always be prepared, Doc.:p
 
I usually carry one of several Case or Buck pocketknives during the work week. While hunting, I carry a Buck Mini Zipper and Leatherman Surge multi-tool.
 
I'm pretty new to the knife carry thing. I'm getting use to it now. I rarley leave home with out my pocket knife. I just up graded to a Kershaw Tactical Blur. Real nice knife. I love the assisted opening. Havn't cut much with it yet but it seems just fine so far.
 
Only one?

I must have at least a dozen folders, ranging from 2" to 5". Benchmade, Case, some cheaper ones that I use for opening cardboard boxes and envelopes, a couple of Italian-made stilettos, including one with a damascus blade just because I like them. The only fixed blade I have (other than the chef's knives I the kitchen) is the good old Ka-Bar US Marine knife. Everybody needs one of those, AFAIC.
 
While I have several knives in my top drawer that I love to fondle and admire, the one I take out the door every day is my Kershaw K.O. Scallion. I have a 30 yr. old Buck 110 that is as solid as the day I bought it, but I have no reason to carry it. Shame.... :(

Swiss Army. However, I know the Leatherman has superior steel & tools on it. One very practical knife is the old Boy Scout with the fork & spoon on it. :p
 
Favorite EDC - Buck Striders, SOG Flash II, Spyderco Endura 4, Spyderco Native, Anza TW, Anza Medium Hunter.

Favorite large fixed blade - Scrap Yard Dumpster Mutt, Bark River Highland, Mora Clipper, Helle Eggen, Helle Fjording, Ghurka Kukri.
 
My Kershaw Cyclone has been great. It holds an edge, and the assisted opening works every time. The thumb stud on the back of the blade makes a perfect bottle opener too.

One of my workers forgot his utility knife a few weeks back, so I gave him my Kerhsaw for the day. I forgot he had it, and it was returned yesterday...filthy. He and his crew liked it more than their utility knives, so they used it to cut about 600 feet of ashpalt-backed copper flashings. It's caked in so much asphalt that it won't close, but is still sharp enough for utility purposes.

After having good luck with Graham Brothers Razels, I decided to try CRKT's version. I've been using it for most things this past week, including a trip to the restaurant.

A sharp one

Just starting to get into the whole SD carry thing (guns/knives) but I've had a pocket knife of some sort in my pocket for at least the last 15 years.

For the last several its been a 'Leatherman Wave'. One handed opener on two blades and enough in the way of tools to save me a walk to the shop.

Probably not much for SD, but better than nothing. I remember the days I would take a pocket tool right through airline security without a second glance (pre 09/11/2001).

I also do woodworking, and I really enjoy taking a day every now and then to put a good sharp edge on all the kitchen knives, pocket knives, and shop blades (chisels and planes). Kind of a zen thing.
