Embarrassing moment at the gunshop

He had a Glock once, but took it back to the shop for a refund, when he found out he could not make a pretty picture of it. Like trying to photograph a black hole or the black obelisk in space. So he painted it white and someone mistook it for vomit and tried to flush it. :o

Dude just say you were 'holding it for someone else'.

thread drift....I was about 16, got dragged to some dinner with a bunch of adults. Two other kids there about my age. Their mother was going off on one for some kind of misbehavior or whatnot. I wasnt paying attention, all I heard was his mom saying "Tyron! Do you want me to tell everyone about that **ldo I found in your backpack?!" "Mom! I told you it wasnt mine! I was holding it for a friend!"

I've heard of holding a lot of different things for friends, but that one has never been topped. :D

Does this mean that it would be easy to see him without knowing him and put "Playboypenguin" to his face right away? Hmmm I am curious as to your attire/facial features. ;)

I'm telling you, PBP has all the glocks in his closet. I bet he has every model except for the one he was just looking at. Hmmm, must have been one of the newer ones, definately a short frame.
I bet he has a private photo album, too. Maybe even a couple pics of him wielding them?
He got spooked when he got caught, and figured he'd better come on here and cover up in case word got out.
Just wait and see people, I know I'm right.
It's ok, playboy, just admit it already.....
It's not like it's a Bersa! Come on out, man. :D:D

I still wont put them on the same shelf in my safe as the Colts and
Smith & Wessons

You mean you let them in your safe? None of my Glocks are allowed into the safe with my real guns.

I keep all my guns except my carry gun in the safe....glocks on the bottom shelf with the ammo and stuff

Nothing to be ashamed about. I have three and love them. I guess I can't be a gun snobb....

I am also a Ford guy, so there you have it....Nothing like driving up to the range in my 65 Mustang fastback and whipping out my three Glocks...My dealer was the translator for Gustav Glock when he came to the US to get his new weapon imported...So mine have all the bells and whistles and fire quite nicely....Although my 1911 is much better than the Glock .45...I ramble sorry...

Mel:cool:

in some parts of my city owninga glock is how we know you indulge in illegal behavior....but you guys are lucky enough to live ina nice places..... we'll treat it liekt he army: dont ask. dont tell :D

As long as you were only "checking out", it's OK. It's not like you were FONDLING it, was it ?
I did shoot some Glocks. (I'll try almost anything once. Or twice, actually.) and didn't like how they felt.
Several excellent shooters I know swear by them, though, and their results are impressive.
There's a guy at the club who calls himself "SammyGlock" (nobody I asked knows his real name). He not only probably owns just about each & every Glock model ever made but also every accessory ever made for them. When he REALLY gets his mojo working, he whips out an attachment-butt-stocked Glock (don't know the model) & a couple of pre-loaded 30 round mags & empties those in about two seconds or so. Gets groups at 10 meters of about 20" x 20";
Thoroughly nice guy : actually very safety-conscious, always friendly, and totally weird.
