Down to Essentials

Revolver: Dan Wesson 15-2 pistol pack. Barrels from 2" to 12" carry to hunting in one pack.

Semi-auto: much tougher choice either a 22lr take you pick so many good ones. or a 1911 in 45 or 9.

why not play along and join in :)

Im gonna be that guy: glock 23 with a 357 sig barrel, a 9mm conversion barrel and a .22lr upper. (hey its still one gun just a bunch of calibers...)

For the revolver I would have to go with the S&W 686+ 4".38 special and .357 magnum.

between those 2 pistols I would have 6 different calibers, ranging from plinking to hunting anything in my neck of the woods. self defense, soft shooting full power loads, and if there is ever a shortage of any specific caliber I would have options :)

I have asked myself a similar question while trying to narrow down what I'm comfortable with.

For a revolver: 3" S&W K-frame in .38/.357
For an auto: Full size 1911 in .45ACP

I have owned a number of pistols over the years, but those are the two I would like.
