The only picture he should be memorialized in is of him stuffing a burrito supreme down his throat with the heel of his hand.

Zah?

Who's the they that may never trust us again? Letters from the warzone? Does that mean our soldiers were writing letters and may never trust us again? Or are these letters from civilians in the warzone? Or do these letters contain information that may lead other countries from trusting us again? I'm confused.

I am torn. The fact that our nation is free and the media can create as well as report is a good thing. Movies, magazines, BBs, circulars, e-mail notifications, TV, radio and even the telephone are used to influence, poll and irritate. The good thing is that we bother them just as much. I work at that. OTOH, NPR, PBS and so many Moores need to have their budgets for anti-American propaganda cut or eliminated. As an aside, has Mikey gotten so fat that black is the only colour he wears?

I guess I could never understand that mentality.

I went to a very liberal college when I was younger, and I got really tired of rich kids coming to class dressed like scum-bags preaching that kind of nonsense. That is the reason I went into the Marine Corps a year later.

You know I agree with on this one JonnyR, I was a military brat and considered "privilaged" when I finally managed to go to a public school in my jumior year of high school, (before that private military academys. Don't do this to your kids!) but it seemed, an almost reversed sort of eliteism always existsed (and still does.) all the way into college. (I told them where they could shove that West Point appointment.). After two years of seeing the "privilaged" masses telling everyone how they should live, right before they buzzed away in their Porsches to the country club and the odd looks they gave me when I'd say I had to go to "work" and could't go out drinking. They were always telling everyone how we should live, but never showing anyone. Daddy's clones, vultures perched waitng for their pre-ordained fortunes. To me actions always spoke louder than any words, I consider myself lucky. So I dropped out and enlisted in the Airforce, and watched it continue there as well, until my discharge. Upon entering the private sector again I decided to take advantage of this trait in the rich that has always galled me, I went into law-enforcement to finally find myself as a private 'dick'. Rich people are terrified of lossing their fortunes, god forbide they become poor, so they need someone to protect them. Are these people so unaware of the $41t they spew? Oh yes, and I make loads of money from their being so oblivious. :D Oh help them, but keep them away from me.

In the case of Moore, I have yet to hear how he has ever benefited anyone except himself. Take Bill Gates for example, you may not like him, but he gives millions every year to help these mases that Michale only yada-yadas about. Anything "Mr" Moore does stinks of hypocrisy and I for one, look forward to his fall from grace. May he land VERY hard, and finally shut-up!

I am not wealthy and you could not give me 1,00000000000000000000000000000000000
to be Michael Moore

oh well that is all I have to say about him that is nice

Firearms related.

I feel like preaching, but will restrain myself.

Currently serving, I can say that the only one I don't trust is him. As far as others I served alongside, I saw plenty of support for our country and our government, flawed though it may be.

As far as free speach, we got into a heated debate in the motorpool in the subject. It seems that we have let free speach become "so free" that we cannot establish charges of treason or violations of OTHERS' rights, because to do so would violate the offenders' rights. Does this make sense to you?

Okay.

Just an ongoing flame we seem to have at work, thanks for the response. It always gets a bit awkward when we get on the subject.

Anyway, just a thought for conversation/consideration.

That idiot should never be allowed to touch an American Flag. He has no concept of what it is he holds nor the back bone to defend it. Instead, he wraps himself in it like a shield and declares his self riteousness. :barf:

Michael Moore is the best argument possible for retroactive abortion.

He's right up there in the Pantheon of Scumbags with Bill Mahr. If I ever see either one of them in person - with God as my witness, I will spit the biggest hocker I can muster right between their socialist, America hating eyes!! :D

I understand what you're getting at. America as a whole is so afraid of infringing on anyone's rights that it's becoming increasingly difficult to convict or punish criminals for fear of infringing on their rights. It's like people being sued for shooting a criminal in defense of their life, it just doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks, Phoenix

That is exactly what I was attempting to say, I'm glad you were able to simplify it. I guess I was a little narrow-minded in that our argument has always restricted itself to people like Michael Moore and the Dixie Chicks who do things that seem to be directed at us, the soldiers.
But it does apply in any situation where the rights of one are given up for the rights of another. Perfect example is the classic scenario in which the burglar sues the homeowner for shooting him...and wins.

But, long story short, I hate this guy, and others like him, who use the Bill of Rights as a sheild to assault the citizens of the nation it protects.

Moore has put his money where his mouth is....

He's a Life Member of the NRA.
Are you?

(No, I just pay from year to year, thank you.)

I never said he was un-American and I wouldn't even use such a term to describe Osama because the term has no meaning.

Kind of like people who talk about "enablers". Another phony term that means nothing.

I hate Michael Moron for being an egotistical, lying, gungrabbing, fat, phony, self-absorbed, self-important, arsehole douchebag.
