Do you have all your guns in a safe

I'm out of room in the safes. I don't have kids so I don't have to worry about that issue. I want to turn a spare bedroom into a gun room but the "boss" won't give the OK for that.:D

Not all. I got a wall hanger or two that...hang on walls. I have a couple that more parts than guns. I got a couple that are on my computer desk waiting to be cleaned. Finally there's a percussion rifle sitting in the closet that I need to take pics of so I can ask the black powder kids about it.

The rest are locked up.

I will only buy a safe when I have kids. Until then guns lay around my apartment like empty glasses after a party. I secure them when I have guests.

Most of my guns are in my main safe in the basement. My CCW is aways either near me or in my holster on my person. I also keep a hidden mini-safe in my bedroom with one pistol.

MA laws requires that all weapons in the home that are not currently within your control to be securely locked.

Most of mine are in the safe; but I keep a couple out in the bedroom and a couple at the other end of the house for easy access (and one on me or very near most of the time).

No kids here so I keep mine loaded and in easy reach at various locations in the house. As I start to gather a larger collection of rifles and shotguns I will consider a safe but my HD pistols are all loaded and as mentioned able to be grabed in a second or two from any location in the house.

Mine are all locked in the vault except several which are dispersed throughout the house and two near the doors, all loaded and ready. Then I have two in my outside shop, both loaded and ready to go if needed.

Guns kept in the shop? Too cold for that up here!

Medalguy,
I am so jelouse. If I kept any of my guns in my shop, and I were to grab one in an emergancy, it would stick to my hand and they would need to pour hot water on me to get it to melt off.
It is currently 1.1 degrees Fh. here.
It's so cold I bring my boat batteries inside to keep them from freezing solid.

Oh yeah, All but one of my guns are in the safe.

All guns in a secure safe, one in my hand, attack cat at the ready, alarm system armed, armored steel front door. If you get in my place you sure as heck aint gett out without a world of pain lol.

Someone once asked me "what if someone to take your guns?"

I responded " I own the guns to negate the very possibility of anyone taking them away from me"

no

i agree with hd gun tucked away somewhere, AND educated
children on operation and safty, other way around, means
answered coriosities much safer than hiding them to well
and slowing acsess,I have 3 kids from 10 to 5 so i still have to be carefull.

I keep all my guns except for my Glock in my safe and the reason my Glock isn't in the safe is because it's my home protection firearm.

My carry Glock stays out of the safe along with a 1911 in a holster hidden in the bedroom. Everything else stays in the safe.

Fingerprint technology

I am looking at the gunvaults. They have one that uses fingerprint technology instead of a combination. I see the value of one finger (instead of fumbling at a moment of stress and making a mistake) but not sure I trust the technology. Any experience?

i need to buy another safe, i have a cannon 42" wide and a stack on 14 gun cabinet that are popping at the seams. i have around 25 long guns that i cant fit in either. ive been on the handgun spree as of late to fill every little safe crevice that i have left.
