I worked as a Security Supervisor in a mall in CT for the last five years (just resigned a few weeks ago) so here was my take on it:
I wouldn't. In CT it is legal, but most of the malls are PRIVATE PROPERTY, opened to the public, but Private nonetheless. (ALOT of people don't realize this and always tried the "This is public property!" argument with me. They lost.)
The mall's code of conduct specifically stated no firearms. That meant if I saw an open-carry, I had to instruct them to leave the property. If they refused, they were trespassing and there was police involvement. (Please note that the police involvement was for trespassing, not the firearm).
Now, this TECHNICALLY meant that if I saw a firearm AT ALL, even if it was just printing while concealed, I was supposed to make them leave. As a general rule I didn't, and only advised them of the policy and that they were printing. Concealed is concealed...and hell, I saw enough things happen at that mall (Serious assaults and the like) that I do NOT go there without my firearm. Concealed, but always on me when I'm not in uniform.
