Do you change what defensive rounds you carry with the weather?

So its getting colder and the bad guys are going to be wearing thicker clothing and more of it. Do you change the defensive rounds you carry to accommodate for thicker clothing?

I realize this question is more for those who carry .32 and .380's than for people who carry .357 and 10mm. Just curious.

Because M9 and 9mm NATO rounds are supposed to be ineffective against Talibans in winter clothing?
(Where is the clown smiley when you need it?)

Only thing I know to have witnessed it, quite often hollow points may fill with clothing and behave like FMJ.

Nope. Same gun and ammo year around. Here in Alabama the winters are quite mild and people aren't bundled up in thick clothing.

I will change guns depending on my attire. The ammo in those guns stays the same. Once I find a load a gun likes, I tend to stick with it for awhile.

I don't change the cartridge but I do change the gun/caliber. In summer it is sometimes a .45 acp 1911 but, with t-shirts and shorts, it's usually a .380 in the pocket. Once cool weather comes in, its mostly a .45 acp 1911 in a belt holster and sometimes a .38 spl snubby in a pocket holster and sometimes in a belt holster for the fun of it.

Nope.
A .45 acp Kahr P45 in "summer", which is early April to late October here. When it is possible to wear long pants, sweatshirt/etc, I get a bit more creative...a 1911 in .45acp or an N-frame in .45LC.

Pretty consistent with .45 caliber rounds, though. :)

Nope the G26 and the M&P 45 are loaded with Hornady XTP. The P-64 9mm Mak is loaded with Wolf Military Classic steel cased FMJ. (They feed and shoot just fine.) Most days as of late I find myself with the G26 IWB, and the P-64 in my pocket.
This is Central Texas. There are a very few days that heavier cloting is a necessary item.
