Do I Really Need a Ruger GP-100 ??

In this case, it is not a question of keeping up with the Jones', it is a matter of having fun and if you would like to get a GP-100, do so. As you know, they are good revolvers.

I personally would rather get a 586/686 or M27 for a range gun over the GP. Then if they want to "keep up" with you, it's up to them.

Keeping up with the Jones' is so ten years ago. Now you have to one up them.

I say get a Vaquero, or a Black Hawk in .357 Mag. You already have the DA revolvers covered. Or get a Red Hawk in .44 Mag load it with megaton war head loads that throw a foot of flame, and sound like the collision of two freight trains at full speed.

Buy what you like, not what every one else thinks is the thing to have.
