tax refund

I wish!!!
I did get the following with my left over from what the government didn’t take out of my pay. Picked them out of a collection sale last week.
The 686 is nice and tight I don’t think it’s ever shot anything other than 38. The lead ring in the cylinder took some time to get out.
The 3906 SN TCE17XX I don’t know how old it is since I haven’t had the time to research it but its NEW in the box and never fired. Never been a big fan of the 39/59 smiths but I couldn’t pass this up for 300$
Am I going to shoot it? I don’t and never will own a gun that I don’t shoot.
Well there is this 1856 Burnside, there is a good chance it will never get fired.
But tax refund,,, didn’t they outlaw that about 3 years ago?

I combined my Valentine's Day and Tax Day gift allowance to get a gun. Money is real tight so I got a S&W 22A. Real happy and excited with it. Cheap fun target shooting. Pick up 500+ rounds for $20, take my new 22A and my tax day gift from last year, Savage Mk II, for a good morning of cheap fun.

not in the top 1%

I will get a refund this year the first in about 10 years, the refund will go to pay medical bills, the reason I get a refund. made to much money to be poor and not enough in the top 1 % just a hard working middle class slob. But I have looked at guns and dreamed of buying a new 45 ACP Springfield Armory MilSpec.

no. I never get a tax refund, but always pay a small amount. That way, I have my money all year long, without letting .gov hold it for me, pay no interest, and then make me jump through hoops to get it back. :D
This year, I had fine tuned my taxes/withholding amounts to where I only had to write a check for $25 and change.

After tax day I might have enough to buy these FOUR!

I think they're something like six bucks for the set of four!:D

I have 2 part-time jobs and Uncle Sam withheld extra from me in 2011.
As a result, I actually got a couple hundred back this time around :), no interest from them tho

We should make Tax Refunds like CD, the interest should be tax free and the regular interest rate should be like the average credit card ~14%. So the big boys know it ain't free borrowing from us hard working fellows :D

Will be paying my dental bills and acquiring a new motor for my lawn mower this year.....officially. I got me a SIG behind my wife yesterday :)

PS. Will be owing state money this year it seems like

Wife got her first gun with it...Bersa Thunder 380.

And I tacked on an LCP with the LaserMax.

Ordered hers 11 days ago, and mine 2 days ago...and they're both due here in town tomorrow! Hitting the range with them on Friday.

VLADAN -
WOW, so I guess we are gonna turn another thread to government bashing tirade???
Don't like paying taxes? Move somewhere else where you don't have to pay... Monaco, Panama, Bahamas ... whatever ... wait .... they don't have second amendment, do they ?
This thread is not " why didntja get a refund" nor "why dontja wanna pay taxes", this thread is about what did you buy with refund money. Didn't buy ? DON'T POST !!!

New Jersey doesn't have the second amendment either...and I still have to pay taxes... Looking like I'm getting the **** end of the stick:mad:

The bulk of my return is going to some new rubber for the truck (I really need to try harder to resist those damn burnouts...) and I'm HOPING I have enough left over for a pistol purchase permit and a CZ75 if I can find one. If not maybe an SKS

That's what I bought with my return a couple of years ago,,,
Nice gun she will enjoy shooting.

We went to the range a couple weeks ago, and she was able to rent about 6 or 8 different guns to shoot. She fell in love with the Bersa, and in fact outshot the heck out of me. She was having a blast...and I was more than happy for her. I enjoyed shooting it too. Very impressed with the feel and quality of the gun, especially for $257 shipped, plus $20 FFL transfer!

I previously posted that my S&W 22A was my tax day gift. Bit, apparently that was my Valenties Day gift.

My tax day gift was a Beretta 92FS.

Dang I love my wife for putting up with my craziness...
