David and Goliath

I think the analogy is a little flawed - if I remember my Sunday School story correctly, after Goliath blustered and bragged about his weaponry, David killed him with one stone slung from a slingshot. (Talk about one-shot stopping power!) :D

So I guess I need to practice with all of my guns in order to stop the threat with one shot!

Then in that case, I say a 6.5 Grendl AR, a matched pair of Blinged out Deagles, some DragonSkin body armor, and a Patriot 3 Laddershield for Goliath, who is killed by David with a single LRN .22 short to the temple from an old Harrington and Richardson 929 revolver when Goliath turns to brag to his posse.....

Little was easy: Erl Svendsen "4 Aces", .22 Short (standard velocity only).
Had a hard time deciding on the big end of the spectrum: I've got stuff with longer barrels and chambered for more powerful rounds, but this is the bulkiest and heaviest in a more-or-less ordinary handgun design (as opposed to "short rifle"): Century Mfg Model 100 .45-70.
Shown with a full loading of their respective ammo and a quarter for scale.

I just pulled out my .30-30 14" Thompson Contender and put a quarter next to it for scale.......Molasses wins:D...by a lot. My smallest is a NAA mini-mag.

.45-70!!! nice;)

Pics later, but my "David" would be my Iver Johnson .38S&W break top, with my "Goliath" being my Colt Government Stainless .45 auto.

David - NAA Pug in 22mag.

Goliath - Charter Arms Target Mag Pug in 357mag.

My 1911 is larger than my CA but I like the Pug to Pug correlation.
