DA/SA vs other

I bought a Beretta to shoot competitions with and found out that I cant shoot DA/Sa for crud. I just have to many rounds through my M&P I think.

Its going up for sale and I'm going back to striker fired.

I just read this entire thread and came to the conclusion it depends on the person and what they are comfortable with. Since I was always issued a DA/SA that is what I purchased for retirement. If I had been issued DAO, I would have probably purchased a DAO for retirement. And I'm too damn old to change.:D

And what is a safety?;) My retirement gun is a PX4, and as someone already mentioned, it is easy to change a type F (with safety) to a type G (decocker only). And that would not have been necessary if I could have found a G.

I have not seen any G models in my area. Constant action and DAO, yes. G, no.

Much narrower profile with the decockers, too. Nice to not have the horns of the safety protruding.
