As I mentioned in my email to you, I agree completely that the law is clear on the requirements regarding receivers not assembled into rifles pre- 94. As to the the trial court case reporting question, I believe that if someone was prosecuted for an assault weapons violation, it would most likely be in federal district court. Many federal trial court opinions are reported in the reporter, "F. Supp 2nd." As to state trial court cases, here in Tennessee, as in your jurisdictions, state trial level cases are not reported.
