Cool handguns

i've always thought the cz52 was a cool gun. just because it's so much fun to shoot. especially at the gravel pit, which is right at the mouth of a little canyon. the noise echoing up that canyon, you can't tell me that isn't cool.

I'm partial to my custom G20/21L I made back in 2005. Shooting both 45acp and 10mm with only a bbl and mag change is great fun.

I like the longslide configuration so well, I converted my Glock 22 into a custom 24 earlier this year.

I'm also partial to my original style 1873 SA Cavalry model too.

I guess the longer sight radius, better balance, and higher velocities of the longer barreled pistols really appeals to me.

That Safari Arms Matchmaster looks like it should be used in a movie, wow.
Cool? Nothing that sparks any "cool" factor with most people, but I am very fond of these two.

Nothing fancy, nothing special, but they shoot well, and that's cool to me.

On the other hand, if I can scrape the pfennigs together, I might grab one of those CZ75 Cold War Commemoritives, even though they are just restamped CZ75s, still kind "cool". :)

Last, I agree, Han Solo's Mauser was "uber cool"...now where do we get blaster batteries?

Three guns that came to mind as really cool are:
1. The Broomhandle Mauser
2. The Luger
3. The 1872 Colt Open Top

"Cool" handguns

Not sure I'd use "cool" but my favorites, the ones that get the most range time, are these: S&W Mountain Gun 44M, Kimber Tactical Entry 45 acp, and S&W 610 10mm. But close seconds are my Ruger SRH 6-1/2" in 44M, Ruger Alaskan 454 Casull, SRH 480 Ruger 9-1/2", and S&W 460 XVR 8-3/8" (generally shooting the 45 Colt or 454 C).

My coolest is the one that I keep in the tupperware container in the back of the fridge in case I'm attacked while getting a late night snack. :D

1) What is the coolest handgun?
"Real" handgun would be a West German SIG P-226 9MM

Too bad the M2019 from blade runner is not real...

2) Do you own one?
No

3) Will you own one?
YES(if i can find one)

4) Can you own one?
Yes

5) Do you want to own one?
Hell Yes!

I like that Automag, I just go one myself, unfired, NIB. Here's a picture of it and a few of my other "cool guns" -

Of course a gun can be described as cool. To some of us they are not just tools; but history and man made art. I can appreciate a cool car or guitar, why not a gun? Pick up an old Winchester and you can hear the buffalo snort and so forth. Somehow I can't put a Colt Goldcup in the same perspective as my claw hammer.
