Concealed carry holders--What do you do for a living?

I'm VP of Marketing and a consultant for a small sales & marketing software and services company. Prior to that I was a senior consultant and ran the DC office of a well known Boston-based consultancy specializing in document/knowledge management technologies and their application for business process improvement. I'm pretty well past the first generation of my family to walk upright (though I have my moments), and could easily be mistaken for a big ol' suburban candy-assed yuppie at first glance. I have very few firends who are into guns or ccw, but I'm working on it.

I'm kind of curious to see the different backgrounds of c.c. holders. In the end I think we'll see that we're all just normal everyday people.

Both my wife and I have Concealed Carry Permits in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. I am a 33 year (and still going) veteran of the Air Force. I have been Active Duty, Traditional Reservist, and now an Air Reserve Technician. My wife has had a variety of care-giver jobs and now works with brand-new mothers and their children.

ctdonath.... With Kodak's customer service, the CEO .....SHOULD....carry a gun. I have bought Fuji film exclusively for the past 12 years after a good screwing from one of their rebate programs.

I deal in American antiques, fine art, and antique and collectible firearms. I also work with a lot of interior designers who are anti gun, but think its ok for me to have one; after all, I'm eccentric. I listen to Bach in my gallery and the Rolling Stones on the way home. I'm a former history teacher and collect early books on American and European history. Guess I'm a pretty dangerous character, huh?

I am a Caterpillar heavy equipment and engine parts guy. Have been in parts for about 23 years except a little stint as as an Army Cav Scout from 91-95. CCH in Indiana.

The wife, although she doesn't carry much, is
a customer service supervisor in the insurance industry. Also Indiana CCH.

Several of the guys I work with or have worked with are CCH.

Weird, very weird. Gopher .45 shows up, borrows 2/3 of my handle, and they're a PhD student. Weird. See, I just this week finished my PhD in microbiology. Ink's not even dry yet. Now I have to find a real job. I guess this is a sign to clear out to make room for the new guy/gal. Hmmmmm.

Hey tankertom, any biotech industry jobs in AZ?

I develop computer-based training and other computer-based multimedia. My wife is a stay at home mom and homeschooler. I know another CCW holder who is a roofing contractor and drives long haul in the off season.

"Gopher a 45"

Sorry to have stepped on your toes with a nearly duplicate name. I used "Gopher" on several other lists and when TFL didn't allow it as a handle, I just added the caliber I shoot. By the way, my Ph.D. will be in archaeology, hopefully a Y2KPHD. Very weird indeed.

tattoo artist wife does computer stuff
the cliental in the ink industry has gone from people like me in the 60-70's to the same cliental who has now discovered harley davidson's!! around 80% of my clients are woman and approx 75% of them either own their own gun or date/married to a gun owner. also i do not know of anyone that DOES NOT own a handgun. funny thing is all of them work and have kids who act responsibly around guns. go figure

I own and operate a pet care facility with my wife who has visited TFL occasionally as "Lou". Coincidentally, she just got her CCW last week!
