Cindy Sheehan Arrested, finally! And Look Who's with her??

The best way to deal with Cindy is to ignore her. You don't pay attention to the ramblings of the lunatic on the corner who shakes his fist at the sky (or the bugs or the lamppost). You don't care about HIS opinions on the war, foriegn policy or the price of tea at WalMart.

Let her talk - and walk away. When people bring her up say, "Cindy, who?" or deliberately confuse her with some vapid supermodel. A response to her antics isn't necessary. It only creates buzz. A famous man once said, "There is no such thing as bad publicity." Ignore her. Her 15 minutes are up.

just for kicks.....

Here is a thought - not that in a million years it would happen ;)

Put the sitting - ditch witch in the same cell as the little nawty Army girl that just got 3 years......... Wouldn't that be an interesting match up? Yea......... thought we could use a little humor here..... regards.......

Marko, I agree in principal. But she is being backed by known enemies of america, during a time of war. Doesn't that fall under treason? Or giving or recieving aid, ect? She is helping to further anti-american agendas FOR THESE GROUPS. That goes beyond free speech and all that don't you think? When you WORK FOR THE ENEMY?

We talking about Bush or Cindy here?

Nope...I don't buy it..the notion that if you are supported by anti american commies that makes you a commie as well.

If one of you Bush loyalists decided to run an anti Fienstein campaign..because she's an anti gun/anti freedom socialst Beotch....and several anti semitic groups signed on to your cause...would that make YOU anti semitic? NO. Your campaign had nothing to do with anti semitism...but the anti semites jumped on your bandwagon because you and they have one thing in common...you both hate Feinstein. Not for the same reasons of course..but a bystander won't care about that. You are being aided by the aryan nation or some other such group...so you must be a racist, neo nazi scumbag too.

Other groups and individuals jumped onto Cindy Sheehan's bandwagon because they, like her, are against the Iraq War. But that doesn't make her reasoning the same as theirs.

Danzig, Good point, but I think that it changes if you take their money and ride on their bus that they paid for....

just my $.02

Meek Junior suggested that before he went back on deployment to the Persian Gulf. She is a pitiful creature but not one on which to waste huge amounts of time.

Uhmmmm....well.....lets see.....I specifically said SHE. Do you need a link from dictionary.com to help you figure that out?

Lets see, this ones easy really. You are often known, judged, and sometimes convicted by the company you choose to keep. Ever heard of guilty by association? If I were to start any type of campaign, I would very carefully choose WHO I ALLOWED to be AFFILIATED WITH ME. If I were against someone in particular, would I allow myself to be affiliated with an anti-american group just because they were against them too? Hell no. Thats retarded. Thats the problem with whining liberals. They don't care WHO supports them or pays attention to them, or who it hurts, as long as they get their almighty agenda furthered. How would it help her cause ONE BIT if her credability is shot for conspiring with the ENEMY?

This thread needs another post. But please note that nowhere in this post am I stating whether or not I am in favor of this war.

Would all of you who say you support this war please explain exactly how you are supporting it?

The look on her face as she's being arrested makes me think this is just some big fun game for her.

Why is anyone discussing this [DELETED]? This is exactly what she wants. I'm guessing her mommy and daddy didn't pay enough attention to her when she was young. I actually feel sorry for her because she is so pathetic.

Cindy and the Koolaid Warriors

Risking Redundancy, Hoping somebody finally realizes why this wackadoo woman needs to shut up.

Here we are, having another go around at the time honored American tradition of giving unlimited press coverage to idiots without a minutes' worth of fact checking.

Mystifies me that our own "free press", with almost unlimited money behind them, cannot afford to hire a single person to look at any kind of background information. News now is just another flash program to sell soap and cars.

How is it that nobody mentions on national coverage that this woman is being funded, at least in part, by THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF VIETNAM, for God's sakes? Remember them, the wondeful folks who brought us the Fall of Saigon, and the murders of half the population of Cambodia, plus 50,000 of our own people? THOSE GUYS!!!???

It's not like it's being hidden, like the backing they gave the anti-war activists durng the VietNam era..... This time they posted it on their website along with all the Socialist Worker's Party branches, all the Pro-Palestine and anti Israel groups, etc.

I guess even if Cindy went around with ChiCom bodyguards, and sporting the old Soviet Hammer and Sickle on her straw hat, nobody would figure it out.

Perhaps its just that the USA is now officially over. We've sold the Presidio to the Chinese for a container ship dock, and now don't even seem to care if COSCO (Chinese Overseas Container Operations, or something of the sort) uses their new port facilities in Long Beach to smuggle in a few nukes to liven up the day, or just continues flooding the country with Red Army subsidized consumer goods to help demolish what's left of our manufacturing base here. Anybody seen a dress shirt that said Made In USA on it lately? Found ANYTHING in WalMart or Target with that sticker?

Anti-war protests sponsored in large part by overseas interests who'd like to see us all dead are hardly challenged now. Cindy's fellow travelers are all OK by us, I suppose.

We basically deserve what we get from here on. :barf: :barf: :barf:

Despite the fact that Cindy is dishonoring her son's memory (IMO); Despite the fact that she is using her son's death to further a political belief that I suspect he didn't believe in (based upon his reenlistment after the Iraq war started); Despite the fact that this lady has used other deceased vets names to further her agenda, disregarding the wishes of the parents and wives of those deceased vets (See month long encampment at Ft. Bush); Despite the fact that she has repeatedly said this country is not worth fighting for; Despite the fact that she has repeatedly said that 9/11 was our own fault and we deserved what we got, the Media refuses to admit the above quotation is relevant to any argument against Sheehan.

I am thinking more and more that Kruschev was right.

BT, I never supported this war in the manner most would think. I never believed there was evidence enough to support the aggression. At the time, TFL was inactive and the only real place to protest (besides the newspapers here where I live) was THR. And I was adamant in my views. I was called many degrading names for not supporting Bush. But, and it's a big "but" to me; Once the prosecution of the war started, I kept my mouth shut.

There were three very good reasons to do so. 1. I will never do anything or say anything that would bring to our troops what was brought to me and my brothers-in-arms when we came home from Vietnam. I will not even attempt to contain the rage I still feel, should someone denigrate our troops in Iraq. Should they do it in my presence, I am willing to spend the rest of my life in prison. 2. We are there and we cannot afford the fallout that would occur, should we up and leave without finishing what we have started. Such fallout is not limited to just the worldwide political fallout. More physical attacks against US soil would occur. Of this, I have no doubt. 3. Last, but not least, my son is a career Marine. How could I possibly protest this war and still look him in the eye and say that I love him?

What more would you ask of me, BlueTrain?

ANTIPITAS:

Could not have said it better. first, thank you for your service and for that of your son. Coming from the same EXACT viewpoint as yours, its is truly a pleasure to hear from you on the subject of this nitwit woman and her ilk. She will continue to get media coverage that in a proper society would be reserved for our returning troops instead of her kind of whining anti-US noisemakers. Our enemies glorify their suicide bombers as heroes, and have what seem to be daily USA flag burning rallies to boost their morale, wh?le we slide inexorably down toward that point where our own returning heroes may wind up getting the same kind of "Welcome Home" that you and I got in our day. I am also worried that the time may come when someone, in my presence, starts in on a soldier with the kind of abuse I got on my return, which scenario will inevitably end with me getting arrested for my all-too-predictable response. Until the left tones down the rhetoric, and the rest of the country ramps up their respect for the services a couple big notches, you and I should probably stay out of airports.
