Cindy Sheehan Arrested, finally! And Look Who's with her??

Communism? Isn't that over?

M3 Pilot,

So, according to you, since the Soviet Union is done, Communism is not a problem anymore?

So, those billion or so Chinese guys are all liberal Democrats?

Their espionage activities in cooperation with Bubba Bill, that got them access to our missile guidance systems so that they can now drop a big one on LA if they feel like it, that never happened?

I feel ever so much better knowing you folks are keeping an eye out. Might want to see if any of the other 10 or 12 Communist regimes around the world have all decided to give up their ideology and sign up as Faith ministry chuch elders, perhaps.

Think your China made jeans are inexpensive because they love us? Wait until the whole indusry is gone from here and then they get to decide what we pay for stuff only they can make. Mao had 5 year, 10 year, 25, and 50 year plans to conquer the world either by force of arms or by economic pressure. I'm thinkig the old dead SOB will get the last laugh yet, the way the sheeple here are going.

What does being against the current war
have to do with communism?
Being against the war does not make you a communist, aligning yourself with socialist and communist organizations definitely points you in that direction

I sorta got the impression that communism ceased being much of a threat during the Regan administration.
The Klan pretty much died in that era also does that mean that racism is dead or that there are not still groups trying to push the same agenda and gain strength again

IIRC, the reason that she and the others were arrested was not because they were protesting but because they were interferring with traffic and for the common use of the road/walk ways of D.C.

She and her group started to interfer with the Rights of others (they could not assemble even if it was for work, to go to lunch, etc..) and so she got busted.

She and her group were warned (IIRC) three times before she got busted.

You and others can stand on a street corner and shout "We hate the war" all you want, but once you start to impede traffic and my right to get to where I need to be, then you are taking away from me, and that should be against the law.

As the old saying goes, "Your Rights end where mine Begins".

Also, she is doing her son bad. He reenlisted after ALL of this happened, including us going into Iraq. If he was so against it, then why did he re-up? All that Cindy is doing is becoming a media whore (sorry for the strong words) and enjoying every second of it.

Honestly, I really don't think that she's even thinking of the memory of her son right now, right now it seems that all she is seeking is the "red eye" of the camera and how long she can stay in the spotlight.

Harsh, you bet, but I feel that it's allot closer to the truth then we realize.

It's one thing to be against the war, which it seemed like that's all it was in the beginning. Then you look at the duplicity of her past, and the sudden alliance with all of these anti-US groups and the radical loony stuff coming out of her mouth, and then you can easily tell she's not just against 'the war' she's against just about everything.

Anti USA Cindycommie

Yo Josh,

Want to spend the required minute to check who is pulling the little puppet's strings, or would that kind of effort overstress you?

The woman is pitiful, not because she's anti-war, but because she is allowing herself to be used by a collection of wackadoos that nobody would otherwise pay a minutes' worth of attention, and she's loving it.

Left to her own limited resources, she'd be standing at some mall 2 miles from home with one handmade sign, exercising her right to free speech.

Thanks to Moveon, Push, Jesse's Rainbow Coalition and of course the well known Anti War advocacy group, Ukeleles For Sanity, she's got national travel capabilities, and obviously thousands of supporters working with her......

After all, they managed to get nearly 100 to show up today, and a faithful 50 threw themselves on the barriers set up by the Godless Regime of the Son of Satan, and 50 actually took the $25.00 misdemeanor traffic citations, might have even paid them, maybe. Seems like if she wanted to overthrow Bush, tho, you'd be right there with her, right? :D

459,just curious, would you rather we pulled out today and letthe Iraqis complete their civil war, with maybe another 100,000 dead? Then Iran could come in and stabalize the region? (Thanks to Bill Oreilly for asking this obvious question/)

The simple fact is her son joined the military of his own free will, and even reenlisted knowing full well it was for duty in Iraq.

So whatever her motive for this protest, she is in a very real way dishonoring the service, and memory, of her son. He was no dope-smoking hippy that got drafted and dragged out of his mother's arms to be killed. He was a brave soldier who knew the risks and took them like a man. If she wants to protest, that's her right, but to drag the memory of her son into this, when he clearly would be appalled at her position, is not ok. It's sheer rank propaganda of the worst sort.

I don't know if any other Military types that have been in, or are in, can expand on this, but this is the way that I see it:

In the military, we aren't "in the know" with everything that is going on. I worked Comm. and I was more in the "know" then most of the grunts on the ground or the flightline.

I would "second guess" many of the orders being given, some of the intell that came through, and in the end, I ended up understanding that maybe, I didn't have the big picture and what the objectives were.

I believe that her son knew of the same, that they big picture was there and that his orders were given so that it may be gained.

All of the terrorist are being fought over there, not over here. We haven't been hit for over 4 years and you can bet your sweet red butt that they have wanted to hit us again, yet they haven't been able to do so. The more we kill over there, the less that can come over here.

Maybe we are being selfish. Maybe protecting the American People at the expense of another country (fighting upon it's lands) is selfish. Maybe they are right, that we should allow them (the terrorist) to have free rein over here and kill more Americans. Cindy has already said that America isn't worth fighting for, so maybe we should just allow more attacks, that would "put us in our place" now wouldn't it.

What's funny about this (not haha funny) is that we get these idiots talking about "how long will we be there" and "how many lives" yet they have forgotten history.

Japan: Still there

Germany: Still there

Korea: Still there

And we lost more American lives in these areas then we've lost in the Middle East.

This is hard to explain to non-military type people, you just don't understand and know military history.

Not that they shouldn't be allowed to protest, more power to them. I go by city hall in the city of Eugene and whatever is the protest flavor of the week is seen. I smile as I drive past, I helped to ensure that they could do so. Yet when they try to jump my car, get in my face, damage my property, then their right to protest ends, my right to sue them for damages or go further, begins.

Cindy, Cindy, Sad Little Puppet

USP45: Wayne, Thanks for your service.
Likely you're one of those I mentioned back in Post #20 while trying to communicate with the ill-informed.
Sending Cindy a photo of a GI doing the cong-squat
over breakfast (facing away, of course, fire for effect)
as soon as I can find it in the archives. Used to have one with the title,
"Yea, kiss this Charles......" maybe just change the name, she'll get the point :D :D

No, she takes money, aid and comfort from anti-USA groups, so she's anti-USA.

I guess we can say the same thing about Bush can't we? He's spending billions of dollars every week over in Iraq and has all of our soldiers over there instead of here when we need them the most. It's sickening. And let's not forget who some of his business partners are..

yes. but for a greater good. Great change means great risk.
Can you imagine how bad they flamed the first guy to question whether the King was really appointed by G*d?

Good thing they only had torches instead of internet forums!! ;) :D

Seems like if she wanted to overthrow Bush, tho, you'd be right there with her, right?

I really don't care much for the crap she is pulling. I just think it's sad when people who don't fall into line with what the government does and says is the "patriotic" thing to do that they get called Anti-USA or unpatriotic.

What is unpatriotic is our president lying about the facts of 9/11, Iraq, his ties in the middle east, shipping our money and soldiers overseas and then sitting on his ass for 3 days while a hurricane comes and ravages our country. Clinton almost got impeached for a b___j__ yet Bush sits on his ass while people die (9/11 and Katrina) and he's our lord and savior. :barf:

And Bush was in the Skull n Bones fraternity in college who practices a mock child sacrifice every year. That's certainly has to fall under anti-usa behavior doesn't it? But no that's okay, we'll just keep ignoring all the bad stuff about Bush.

FYI: China isn't what it used to be. Its a poorer place than America to be sure. But the people are warm and friendly and 99.9% are very friendly towards Americans and westerners in general. China is no threat towards America in a military sense. The chest pounding on both sides of the Taiwan straight is pretty much just that.

I live in a house I own in Nanjing China 50% of my time and do about $2MIL per year in business with them. I eat with them, laugh with them and cry with them. They are total, committed capitalists as individuals and take personal responsibility like we did 50 years ago.

Might I suggest that a vacation to China might be fun? It is extremely affordable and plane fare on a Chinese airline (service is superior in every way to American companies) can be had in advance for $700 roundtrip in non-peak holiday periods. You will need a passport and visa which is essentially automatic to get.
