Re: Atlanta. One of the problems I have is that I can't really think of it as a city. I come from the greatest city in the world, (the city is the greatest, but the liberals are not) and to me, a metropolis is a vertical leviathan, not this spread-out, suburban "urban" area.
Interestingly, just after I posted that my boss called me from Atlanta and said that there's a new position up there that I should really consider. It would be a minimum of a 6k bump, and quite a promotion. It only took about half a microsecond to think about leaving Savannah and the wonderful lifestyle here before I said "Thanks, but no thanks."
