CCW choices....357Mag. or 45acp?

The Answer

This is my opinion yes a 357 magnum is more reliable, however in close they are easier to be turned around and used on you, but and 45 ACP you have too put the safety off, if you carried it locked and cocked.
And if the person you are going shoot is on PCP, it will take more then one or two shots to stop or kill them.............. :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Between these two choices, which one would you choose and why? This will be my personal CCW weapon.

.357Mag. revolver, 2" barrel and 6 shot cylinder.
OR
45acp compact semi-auto, 3" barrel and 6 shot magazine.
Either round will do the job. I think the choice depends on whether you shoot one or the other better.

Depends entirely on the gun. Maybe I missed if he said which model he was carrying, but there are plenty of DA .45's w/o safeties.
