Case stuck in chamber after hd separation

Glad its out , I'm surprised it was that hard. Let us know what he said. Thanks for getting back. Chris

If the rifle is a "controlled rounf feed", it means the BSE has to be loaded into the mag and as the bolt clides forward, the BSE will slide across the bolt face and engage the extractor.
[You maybe be able to chamber the BSE and lightly touch the base of the BSE , then press in on the middle on the extractor, which will lightly "spring up" the front of extractor. to allow the extractor lip to over-ride the case rim , then push forward on entire bolt unit and the BSE will engae the case mouth, allowing extraction as you pull the bolt rearward.

A "push feed" bolt the extractor move to the outside, over-riding" the case rim.

Hope this helps.

The head of the case came out along time ago . the case body was stuck in the chamber . Its a nightmare when you can't get it out. Even the gunsmith had a hard time removing it. 1stmar tried his best & made the right decision. When he gets his rifle back , I wonder what that first shot & built lift will be like?

There won't be a problem . Just the last time you fired it it ripped the head off. Its like getting hit with a pitch , next time up your a little nervous . Did you get it back , how's the new bolt knob.

Very happy with how the rifle came out. No issues at the range yesterday. Shot pretty well. Didn't have a lot of time.
