Where I work it is illegal for non LEOs to carry concealed. I am in favor of the law regarding this being changed...which it probably would have if Harris and Clebold hadn't tried to blow up a high school in Colorado. That kinda stalled the bill.
I'm not saying that I do not have my reservations about having to encounter some of the people I deal with daily, carrying guns...the pervious poster was right...POWERFULLY stupid people. FABULOUSLY stupid. I'm talking STOOOOPID. And I'm not talking at all about the evil people- they already have guns, if they want them. I'm talking about the 'good' guys that Darwin forgot. Jim-Bob the Toothless Wonder with a .44- scary. Yes I know he's not the norm...but he's a part of my daily scenery. *shudder*
But all policies have drawbacks...and I think in philosophical terms allowing CCW is far better than not allowing it, and in practical terms I think it is better as well.
