I've been browsing Buds for some time and admiring both their prices and their selection. Last week I noticed the little advertisment on there about the 1 year no payment/no interest thing and it's been eating at me ever since. I have been craving a Beretta Cx4 for some time now and actually started donating plasma ($50 a week-not bad-but would seem to indicate a serious firearm addiction) to raise extra money for it. So today, just for kicks, I clicked on the advertisment to check it out. After reading it, I went on to fill out the online application, again, just for kicks, not really expecting approval. It literally took me about one minute to fill out the application. I hit the submit button and not two seconds later I have a $5000 approval for purchase at Buds!! next comes a call to Buds, (took all of five minutes at most,) and BAM! Cx4 is on it's way I'm still somewhat stunned at how fast and easy this all went down.
Now there is a slight downside to this story, (aside from the fact that I'm now in debt.) Long story short, selection of the 1 year plan add 8% to the advertised cost. Having done the math before hand, this added % equals, almost exactly what my cost with tax would be if I bought this at Sportsmans warehouse right now. The main difference is that I will probably be shooting this thing next week and have until Nov-2008 to have it paid off.
So I must warn you, Buds is dabgerous!
