When I've gotten into discussions with anti-gunners I have always brought up the Aurora shooter. Typically psychopaths desire a certain tool to do what they want to others, if he wasn't able to be fulfilled choosing a "hunting" rifle or shotgun or whatever, or felt the capacity not to be to his liking, who's to say instead of linking his apartment to explode, which apparently could destroy the building and the next door building. Who is to say he not blow up the movie theater? A confined space full of people, if they use film still tons of flammable material, plus adjacent theaters nearby and typically one narrow exit or two out and one fire exit per theater. The death toll would be more akin to the Oklahoma bombing. Kitted guns that look like evil guns have a place, they are there to protect store fronts, families, and they are designed to scare those who wish to cause harm to the carrier. But they also can facilitate a mad man's desires, and in this sort of circumstance that can be a good thing.
