Thanks everyone. I checked out most of your suggestions & then decided to stick with my 686 plus 3" 357 in magnum. This is one heck of a revolver.I went out & bought a new ITW holster & started to carry it again. Since I live in a concealed carry state, I pretty much have it concealed but still able to get it out in a reasonable time frame. This was the hardest to do. The grips kind of sticks out but for my needs it works.
The LCR;'s were not for me. The GP 100's are terrific but the S&W is better.
The other Smiths like the model 60 was impressive but only allowed 5 shots.
The Kimbers also were impressive but not in the price range under $1K
