Best movie for revolvers?

As mentioned many times, Magnum Force is one great revolver movie! Another film that contains many great revolver scenes that I enjoy every couple of years or so is To Live and Die in L.A.

If you ever watch the DVD version, check out the alternate ending where the main protagonist survives and the two agents end up being reassigned to the Anchorage Secret Service office. It's hysterical!

Black Sunday, on the beach...Appropriate today what?

I recall Babara Steele's decolletage but I don't recall revolvers. Though I agree decolletage is always appropriate.

Chuck Norris did carry a 6" 629 in both Lone Wolf McQuaide and the earlier seasons of walker. I heard, not verifyied, that t was the same revolver both tikes and one he owned personally. He is a big gun collector and competative shooter for those who didnt know.

I doubt he used a personally owned working firearm. Movie guns are modified to shoot blanks only.

I believe that Tyne Daly used a Colt Diamondback .38 2 1/2" in the Enforcer, not a Python. Another good movie for Diamondback .38 fans is Brannigan, starring John Wayne, and that little 4" D-Frame Colt looks pretty small in The Duke's hand. That was back when a .38 was considered potent!

For years and years I was convinced she carried a S&W 2" 15......Now that I look at the screen shots, it looks to be a Diamondback, but only because it looks too small for a Python. Somebody will figure it out......Good question.....Zebulon

Not a movie but I've been watching the walking dead and absolutely love the revolver Rick the main character uses throughout the show. It's a Colt Python 6" barrel. Awesome show too btw

I must be a heathen because I really dislike how the Pythons look. That extra bit on the end of the barrel makes it look like a pop-gun.

It looks like a Python to me. However if she has small hands and then the perspective that the camera can create......it might be a Diamondback. But for now I say it's a Python.

"City Heat Clint and Burt lots or revolvers"

Forgot totally about that movie!

I loved the scene in the beginning of the movie where Eastwood's character keeps shooting the big, burly body guard with 158-gr. LRN .38 Specials, and the guy just keeps coming...

The Hills Have Eyes - 2006 remake. The father uses a Taurus Model 66. 6" .357 Magnum. It gets several close up shots during the movie.

I watch the walking dead just to see Ricks revolver... notice I didn't say Ricks Python:) What a beautiful revolver. I know it's just a show but it's still a little strange to see a police officer carry a revolver these days.

Of course you have to mention the Dirty Harry Movies and Westerns, but I think a good more recent example, would be the movie Faster with Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson, He did a lot of damage with his Ruger Redhawk Alaskan.
Also although, it is not a movie I would give a special note to Rick Grimes of the Walking dead with his Colt Python.
