Best movie for revolvers?

Black Dalia

it's the only time I have ever, EVER seen a revolver shooter do a partial reload after firing two rounds in a film. It's done "correctly" and in what would be a good time in the fight.

Newer 3:10 to Yuma has some nice revolver action. Ben Fosters character uses Schofields in twist draws. probably my favorite holster set up ever who cares how impractical it is!

I'd have to concur with The Mummy as well!

Except Schofields are not double action revolvers, which is what the OP wanted to know -- best double action revolver movies.

The Johnny Depp movie about Dillinger that was out some time ago was also pretty good. When he breaks out of jail he opens an arms locker and it's just loaded with Colt revolvers.

The Wind and the Lion.

When the arabs rode in to kidnap the girl and her son, shooting up the place.

Guy pulls a Webly, classic bullseye stance. Six Shots, six dead bandits, the click, guy says "Oh Damn" as they shoot him down.

I was watching "Magnum Force" last night and when Callahan goes down to the coroners office to look at all the dead bodies the coroner says about the pimp. "Who ever did this emptied a whole clip into him".

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Paul Kersey?

Doesn't anyone know anything about .32 nickle plated S&Ws let loose on the streets of 1970's New York City? Shame. Shame.

Where is Charles Bronson when you need him?

I concur with warningshot ↑
That was the most powerful .32 S&W Long in the world! </sarcasm>

Vermin: "It's the .88 Magnum. They made it for him special. It shoots through schools"

I don't know anything about it because he didn't have a nickel plated S&W but rather a Colt Police Positive in 32 new police (32 S&W) most likely. If you look at it in the movie, you will see it does not have the S&W style release, and it does not have a the same side plate.

Maybe it was Pulp Fiction, the guy comes out of the bathroom and fires point blank at a hitman and misses him with every shot.

Funniest scene in the movie and actually a accurate warning to every tinderfoot who thinks they can just pick up a double action revolver and blast away.

My memories so bad it was probably a semi auto.

48 hours was a great flick...I watched that when I was 8 when they didn't edit all tv movies. I love dirty harry(the movie...saw as a child too), magnum force doesnt compare in my opinion but dirty harry and the dead pool was a good one(did you know jim carrey was in that movie from 1989...you might not care either lol but some trivia for you he was the junkie in the video and liam nelson("The Grey") was his boss.

all that babble i will say magnum force's first scene on the plane was a dandy

Hannie Caulder; Ok, not double action revolvers, but with Raquel Welch as the Hero, who cares? Besides, it's fun watching her thumb the hammer!
