Best gun purchase Ive made: pocket pistol

Either a Walther TPH or Ruger LCP

In both cases, they get carried in a pocket holster with a spare mag. TPH is more fun to shoot and scary accurate. Obviously the LCP carries more punch and is a little lighter. Occasionally I'll slip a Smith 442 into my pocket if the pocket is big enough.

Pocket carry a P290? Man, that thing would feel like a boat anchor in my pocket. The sweet spot for me seems to be 12-15 oz. for a pocket.

My pocket-carry requirement has always been: small, light, hammer fired, DAO. This last because I don't want to carry cocked and locked. For several years I carried the NAA Guardian in .32 acp, then decided I wanted a .380 so I went to the Colt Pony Pocketlite for pocket carry. Last year the Beretta Pico came out - a bit lighter, better sites, better balance - and the Pony got relegated to back up status. The Pico needs a short break in because the springs are a bit stiff. Once I'd put a couple of hundred rounds through it, everything became excellent. I also use the DeSantis pocket holster.

I bought a LCP, Glock 27, and a really nice Kahr PM9 in all-black ~2010.
Despite my PM9 being my favorite ccw I (somewhat regrettably) sold it, I just didnt carry it much with the LCP around, so I freed up the funds.

Still have the LCP and G27.

Still want a 3.5" long, 1/2" thick, 7 ounce poly framed 25acp for shorts pocket carry.

Not fancy, not pretty, but it goes bang every time and is extremely easy to carry. I carry it in my shirt pocket sitting (impossible with a bigger gun) or back pocket standing. I prefer my snubbies, but this thing can go anywhere with me no matter how I am dressed.
