- - -I stand by my earlier comment about the Hi-Power. I really LIKE the BHP! Personal sidearms usually have their own appeal and inspire personal liking, whether or not they have actually been used in tense moments

This is not to say I don't find a lot of merit to my Glock 19. It is completely box-stock, no bells, no whistles. Plain, ugly, reliable, utilitarian. It just IS, staying there in an ammo can with holster and two loaded magazines, devoid of beauty, charm, and affection. But realy to roll if need be. And therein lies a lot of value. If it is lost or destroyed, I can go to the shop and get another, and the loss is purely financial. ;)
