Best “feeling” handgun …

SIG P6 or S&W 27

Best feel--for my big paws. Polymers have their place, but these are the two that I enjoy shooting (in 9mm and .357 Mag respectively).

S&W K-frames!

In general, I'll say a .38 SPL S&W K-frame with "Gripper" model Pachmayrs. Pencil-barrelled 67s come to mind.

However, I recently bought what appears to be a 1962-made Model 14-2 with a 4" barrel. The trigger pull is light and teflon-smooth. It's the best shooting S&W I've ever held. The thing is so dead-on accurate that it's startling.

Among the semi-autos, Makarovs feel just right to me.

My Sig P220 fits my hand perfectly, and points perfectly. Not my favorite gun to shoot yet, since it's my first .45 and I'm still getting used to that, but it fits perfectly.

Yes again - Another vote for the 1911 :D

I'd have to say Glock as well - I'm so used to them, they feel great in my hand.

Revolvers: Any K frame S&W.
Autos: S&W Sigma/M&P.
For mouse guns, the Ruger LCP.

All IMO, for my hand.

The Sig guys sure do like theirs! I've never owned one, but all the good recommendations must count for something! :)

I always thought that 1911's were the only guns that fit my hand perfectly, until I bought a Glock 30SF. It fits me like a glove. In fact the baby Glocks fit my hand pretty nicely too. I am one of those weird guys that feels very comfortable with many different types of grips. I even find the small grips of my Kahr PM40 comfortable. One of the few guns I have ever had that just did not work at all grip wise was the Walther PPS.

I just threw some pachymr grips on my P226 and it filled up the grips into my hands perfectly. The problem is no one else has big enough hands to shoot it. Oh darn!

The one in my hand.

Seriously. I put 1911s and N-frame revolvers way up high, but so many feel so natural it's hard to pick one. The only gun I rule out here is an SP-101 with stock grips. It points perfectly for me, and I carry it often, but I'd never, ever use the word "comfortable" to describe it.

Yessss, that's it, precisely.
