Best 9mm For Concealed Carry?

If it's got to be a 9mm, to me there are only two choices:

HK p7m8/psp if you like em thin.

g19 if you want lots of rounds.

Kahr does nothing better than the p7, and carries less firepower than the 19.

g26 is not really much more conceable than the 19, and is much less ergonomic.

Oh, the third choice (if full auto is allowed) is g18 with a couple 33rd stick mags carried under the shirt.

Only if you're CCWing in a game of Rainbow Six or something.

Have you ever shot a full auto Glock? Unless you lean into the thing, you'll be paying out on liability suits from the airplanes you shot down. The thing's cyclic rate is so high that you almost can't back off the trigger without letting three to five rounds go, and most of them go up.

Well since nobody said it. CZ75-PCR. Its a little big, even thought its a compact model, but the alloy frame makes it a little lighter. I don't think you can beat an HK P7M8 either.

g18 uncontrollable?

Yes I've fired a g18, but have to admit I never launched more than 6 rounds at a time. Yes, you have to lean into it, but that's true of most full-auto, except maybe the AN-94 which has a very effective comp and a unique select fire mechanism (first two rounds 1800 cyclic rate).

Re most of the rounds going up... not necessarily. There's a video floating around that I picked up off Glocktalk. An instructor empties a 17-round mag into an IDPA target at 15 yard on full auto. Every round goes into the cardboard. I'm sure its not easy, but in can be done. Trick is start low and left on target.
