As long as we're being honest....

I have a early first year production Colt 1991A1 Gov't and prob thousands of 200 grn. LSWCs handloads and 230 Ball and hollowpoints not one jam, hangup up, or fail to fire.

Every 9mm Glock has been 100% (wont buy Gen 4 until it is fixed)

Everything else, some probs.

Who carries a semi-auto for self defense that has never, ever malfuntioned? 1000 batting average.

Who carries a revolver for self defense that has malfuntioned? Even once?

SEMI: Beretta 92FS/M9.
Revolver: I've never had a SD revolver malfunction.

I don't own revolvers anymore...just a personal preference.

Currently have 3 full size glocks (2 17s and a 34)...more than 100k thru an original 2nd generation...meleted factory guide rod but it still worked...broken factory trigger spring (s-type).

Replaced all guide rods with wolff steel non-captured models and wolff factory weight recoil springs and replaced all factory trigger springs with NY1 connector springs...zero failure of any kind. I've shot them dirty, dry, wet and clean.... for me they just work, and lots of guys have many many more rounds thru them than I have with no failures.

Sig 220ST 25k rounds thru, stock save for a short trigger. Never choked.

Sig 225 (not P6.) 10k rounds...no failures.

SW 5943...stock 10k rounds by me plus its an ex memphis PD doulbe action with corresponding finish wear...no failures.

Glock 27 10k rounds no failures, NY1 trigger, factory dual spring guide rod

Have a 226 X5 thats also never choked but that isn't a carry gun, nor was malfuction free HK mark 23 that I sold.

A few others Glock 19, HK usp 40, Sig 229 and Sig 226 Have had a few very random stove pipes/failure to extract BUT this IS due to my sub-par reloading skills causing underpowered, wrong length practice ammo....None of these malfuctions would make me consider not using these guns as exclusive carry but "as long as we're being honest" they technically HAVE malfuctioned.

round count is by quick estimation of the once fired brass still awaiting my unskilled hands to reload...

I've been carrying a Glock 30SF for awhile. One I carry, one I practice with. Recently purchased a bunch of Federal red box 45ACP ammo and out of 500 rounds have had two FTFs and one failure to eject. I'm suspicious on ammo since this same ammo caused similar problems with other 45s I own that have never choked on any other ammo either.

Short answer.. no

I rotate carry pistols. I can't say that anything I own is always 100% reliable or that performance is not caused by user error. I carry most of the time and shoot 100 to 200 rounds a week of what I am carrying for any length of time.

The most reliable is my Kimber TLE RL II
Second is my Walther PPS 9mm
Third is a Sig P250C 9mm
Two LCP's that I don't often carry I would consider reliable.
A Sig 226R has been reliable enough.

My Colt M1991A1 with old rollmarks has surely over 5,000 rounds of various types through it with no malfunctions. I love it. It'll never leave my possession. My other pistols haven't had a thousand through them yet except for my ruger mk II which has malfunctioned a few times. In the past, though, I did put over a thousand through a p228 with no malfunctions.

Weapons I have had jam:
glock 23
glock 26
Beretta 92fs
Browning bda 380 didn't actually jam, but stopped functioning and needed sending in.
as mentioned, ruger mk II

I carry a CZ-75B Omega. It has never malfuntioned for any reason in the ~1500 or so rounds I have put through it.

I occasionally carry a PA-63, whose only problem has been the firing pin spring breaking, which was not noticed until I tried to activate the saftey. It did no prevent the weapon from functioning.

I have a Colt Officers ACP that I refuse to carry. It is completley unreliable dispite costing signifigantly more than my other handguns. It is pretty much useless. The only reason I keep it around is because it was my fathers.
