Are Glocks good looking pistols ??

Fits right in with a black plastic sci-fi kinda motif... well, I guess HK USP does that better... lotsa little ridges and cool looking things.

I wouldn't call them ugly. They're not. There's just not much about one to catch the eye. About as plain as plain can be.

A Hi-Point is UGLY.

A Calico is UGLY, and looks like a somewhat rude medical device to boot.

Doesn't go with a tux, for that you need something stylish and blued with nicely figured dark wood.

Glocks are "utilitarian"(Butt a$$ ugly). IMHO, Rugers and Berettas are uglier.

To me.. glocks couldn't be uglier. Add that to the fact i think the ergonomics suck as well. They just are comfortable to hold (to me at least).

As far as TV and movie guns go, what the hell does the movie industry know about firearms? Just cause it's in a movie that makes it perty?

Regardless of how pretty the Glock is; Form follows function.

They are about as pretty as a shovel.
Of course, a silver spoon is prettier, but what would you rather have if you needed to move dirt? Glocks are very utilitarian, they remind me of a shovel, a crescent wrench, or a sledgehammer. None are particularily good looking, in my opinion, but hey get the job done.

I voted for BAU!!!! Glocks have the same chance of being good looking as Janet Reno has of making the cover of Cosmo. I'm more of a purist. Give me a 1911 or a metal gun and I'll be happy. Around here we kid the guys that have glocks, a lot!!!

Nice thing about carrying a Glock, if you get into a fight and the gun gets dropped or kicked across the blacktop, it doesn't matter, the gun was ugly before all those scratches.

Not to be contentious, but while I don't think Glocks are good looking due to the fact that they're extremely plain, I also don't think 1911's are good looking either - for the opposite reason.

Remember the story, the ugly duckling was a great duck, but UGLY! Just like Glocks. Great guns, but UGLY!
