Anyone regularly carry a military surplus gun?

I used to carry an feg pa63. It uses walter ppk holsters. It was an accurate little gun without ever a hiccup so why not? I ended up trading it for something I wanted more so I no longer have it.

Once Wisconsin finally allows CCW, I fully plan on carrying my CZ82. It's not light-weight, but 12 rounds of 9x18 in a gun I can shoot well with my eyes closed is mighty comforting.

You know something I don't?

please! Please! --> help us vote out the weak kneed, slack jawed, limp wrist, watery eyed liberals.

My CZ-82 is my primary carry pistol. I believe the 9mm makarov cartridge to be a fantastic caliber/bullet for self defense. So, that happens to work out fine for me. I sometimes carry in my front pocket either a Kel-tec P11 or an AMT 380 backup. In the cold winter days with a heavy coat, I'll carry my Sig P220 45acp. And when I'm dressed in a suit/tux/formal, I carry my walther PPK 32acp on an ankle holster. But more than 70% of the time, it's my CZ-82. Like I said, it's the perfect caliber and carry gun for self defense.

My CZ82 is the primary carry weapon, I am proficient with it and never had a FTF. A Bayard 32 acp gets the nod when I need something really small, its a great size for pocket carry.

I regularly carried an FEG PA63 until the Kel-Tec PF9 proved itself reliable and took over CCW duty.

Still have an occasionally carry the PA63.

One of the guns in my carry rotation is a Makarov pistol. As others have said - accurate and reliable.
I have on a number of occasions carried a WWII Webley Mk.IV in a shoulder holster - cool weather, under a jacket.

I frequently carry a P64, occasionally carry a Bulgarian Makarov, PA-63, and CZ82. All chambered in 9x18 makarov. Totally reliable.

P-64 in my pocket. carried in an Uncle Mike's #2 pocket holster. If it is hot, and I am in gym shorts I have a bellyband style holster that goes to an IWB position.

G26 has been my primary EDC for some years now, however, I recently picked up a P-64 and found its thinner/smaller profile to be a good choice at times when the G26 seemed a little bulky. Got a PPK Crossbreed holster that fits the P-64 nicely. I used to carry a Soviet Makarov before I got the G26.

I think 9X18Mak is a good defensive cartridge but freely admit that I think the 9X19mm is a better SD choice that has lots of excellent ammunition options. Still way better to walk out the door wearing a smaller caliber pistol than nothing and no, I'm not trying to start a caliber war.
