Anybody like shooting .357 Magnums?

357 Mag.

Yes, many years ago I really enjoyed target shooting with a Model 19 and would like to get back to 357. It's remarkably versatile. I'm looking for a good Model 27 with an 8 3/8" barrel.
Thanks.

Love to shoot 357s. Recoil is relatively light compared to my 44 mag., but still enough to be noticeable. Iused to make up some handloads using Remington 125 JHPs and 15 gr. of Bluedot. Not real accurate but if you didn't hit him with the bullet, the muzzle blast would turn him into an instant crispy critter. It also tended to clear the range positions to either side.

Dont do that anymore, but it sure was fun.

Dan Wesson 6"

I love my DW 6" blue with hogue rubber. Very easy to handle and my wife likes it also!

Side note: Also love my DW SS Major in .45ACP!!

Why are SW 686's so popular on this thread?

I just bought a SW 66 (used) in stainless. Very nice. Havn't shot it yet. My first .357 revolver.

I also bought Collins Cartridge Co .357 mag ammo, made locally here in Texas. Anyone know anything about this ammo?

If I beat the next person I will be the 65th to reply. :D

Yes, my King Cobra .375 Mag is a BLAST. ;)

It would be only fitting to have 66th be a 66 owner.

I love shooting .357. GP100, SP101, Blackhawk, Vaquero, Smith Model 28, Marlin and Rossi Levers. Generally prefer the heavier 158 grain loadings. If I only could have one caliber, or even one gun, it would be a .357. For me the single most useful caliber, bar none. I have some K-frame Smiths but they are all .38s.
