Anybody here voting for Gore?

WAGCEVP:

Please clean off your glasses and read my post again. The Republicans talk about many of these issues, but they have yet to deliver. My point was that Bush was far better than Gore, but don't expect him to deliver a much downsized government, or offer overt support for getting rid of the many silly gun laws. Republicans and Democrats have much in common, that does not mean that they are identical. Gore would be a disaster. I freely admit that I am neither a Republican, or Democrat, but I will not vote for Harry Brown and rather vote against Gore by casting my vote for Bush.

No.

David Scott, I'll respectfully disagree with your logic. If, by your one vote, you decided the races, then there would be more support for your position. But, your vote is one of many.

For me, this is quite simple. Bush / Cheney are clearly more ethical, more trustworthy re: national defense, and much better on the RKBA / self defense issue. While Bush may be somewhat suspect on the RKBA, I have a much better chance of getting more Clarence Thomas's on the Supreme Court with Bush than I would with Gore. And, IMHO, a more statesman-like Supreme Court may be our very last chance to return America to her roots of liberty. The alternative is a potentially ugly future that I would not wish upon any of our children.

In a few hours, we'll know. I do hope it is hyperbole, but ... this election may decide American liberty in our lifetimes.

NO

As I have said many times before on various boards in regard to Republican vs. Democrat, any gun owner who is a Democrat and votes for the Democrats should automatically forfeit his/her right to own a firearm.

Mr. Scott, I have to presume by your posting here that you are a gun owner? Then this applies to you first and foremost. Sir, your reasoning does not hold water.

The Democrats have done more to diminish our rights afforded by the 2nd Amendment than any other organized group that I can recall.

Voting for Al Gore will only further destroy our RKBA.

Spectre, I'm trying to figure out how you blame Bush Sr. for the '94 ban ??? He lost to Clinton in '92, and was likely playing golf full time in '94, no ?
