any one with 6.5x55 experience?

went to my local gun shop today to pickup some norma 6.5x55 bullets.they had a mod 70 winchester featherweight in 6.5x55. i talked him down to 290.00 so my wife has her rifle lol

How in the world did you pull that off? Those rifles should not be less than $500. If you need new Winchester brass for it I can help.

theres no need to be trendy.the stuff that has been around 100 + years still works fine. sometimes i think people are trying to reinvent the wheel.
