Any new gun purchases this weekend?

Sounds like the price was right. I'm not to fond of ported barrels myself as they can have things flying in your face if you shoot it from an off angle but I already have the model that you just got (own the stainless steel version) and wanted one with a concealed hammer for deep carry and all of those come ported :( but the ports do help reduce muzzle flip on such a small & light gun. So much for savin' space.. FUD IS LURKING

Yeah, last thing I wanted was to get caught in an aqward position having to fire my ported only revolver in closed quarters (like my car) only to blind myself. That, and I'm sure it would have certainly have spooked my girlfriend the first time she shot it. I've pretty much figured I can get my thumb on the hammer most times I need to grab it.. but I assure you the one time I need to draw it, it won't be nice.. :(

But now that I think about it.. the only two times I've had to draw a firearm, was with a larger revolver -- and I didn't have any trouble at all... hmm.. All in my head maybe? :)

How many times do I have to tell you people? Tis better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

Oops,

Bought another one today off the Handguns for Sale or Trade Forum here. It's a Colt .45 Officer's Model in bright stainless. Here's a photo posted by the former owner, -AMERICAN-:

How does this keep happening to all of us? I for one am baffled.

Confusedly (but happily),

Do trades count? Traded for a Glock 17C. My Glock stockpile grows! Ledbetter that is one nice looking slabside! If it shoots as nice as it looks you have an A+ winner. P.S. Me'n you need to talk some trading!

Hmmm..... let's see, so far that's 6 Glocks, 2 Rugers, 2 Remingtons, and 1 of everything else.

Anyone see a pattern here?

Ledbetter - I was going to send off an E-mail to the owner of that .45 myself, but the new (used) S&W 29 tripped me up. Good purchase!

Don't cry. Just give up all your other hobbies, stop eating out and having your clothes dry cleaned and heating/cooling your house and going to movies. Oh and don't buy any more expensive hair products. Shampoo with MPro7 and condition with Breakfree CLP. Also, I find it helpful to drive a 1987 car.

Even still, I think I'm going to have to sell a 9mm now.

Poor me ;),

Nothing on the weekend but I got into Houston on Wed. and picked up my Colt Single Action 7" cavalry model I've wanted for decades. Got it in (of course!) .45 Long Colt.
Now I need one of those Rossi 1885 Winchester replicas in 45LC to go with it!

Forgive me, comrades, for I have sinned. It has been nearly one month since my last firearms purchase (a Sig 225 and 226 doubletap in the same weekend). In penance, I shall go to the gun show this weekend and attempt to locate two Glocks and a Taurus .38. Through this, may I earn forgiveness?

Got a 625 v-comp last week, and there are area gunshows the next 3 weekends. I'm sure I'll find something I can't live without...

I'll forgive you, but you may not need it. I think a double purchase gives you extra credit and a brief reprieve from your purchasing duties. :)

OK, I got a new Golden Eagle Ultra Evolution hunting bow today. I am picking up my new Marlin at the end of the month. Not bad so far this year. 1 of everything and the wife has not killed me. :D
