Methodology:

The USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll of 3,444 Iraqis, the largest and most comprehensive poll in Iraq since last year’s invasion, was administered by the Pan Arab Research Center of Dubai.

Interviews were conducted between March 22 and April 2, with the exception of the governate of Sulaymaniya where interviews ran through April 9. All interviews were conducted in person in the respondent’s home, with an average interview length of 70 minutes. The cooperation rate - the percentage of those contacted who agreed to be interviewed - was 98%.

Two of the three governates in the predominantly Kurdish region, which has its own administrative agencies and has been largely independent from Baghdad for the past decade, did not participate in the poll. To have a full representation of Kurdish views in the poll , additional interviews in the third governate, Sulaymaniya, were conducted.

The margin of sampling error for the poll is +/- 2 percentage points.

How can you have a scientific poll of the entire country if two thirds of the Kurdish region weren't polled? That a total of 1,334,300 possible poll candidates that were excluded.(estimated population of the two governorates in 2000 from Wikpedia and Global Security.org) That's just the easy three minutes of research showing possible faults in the poll.
Further, the poll was conducted by the Pan-Arab Research Center of Dubai. The same research company employed by Al-Jazeera to conduct it's polls. So are you now telling me that Al Jazeera is also a credible source.
GS, you want definate proof that this particular poll is faulty, however you have yet to produce a shred of definate proof in any of your posts. You basically say "I say it's true, prove me wrong." I'm good with that except, you won't accept that from an opposing opinion. When you're pressed for information you fall apart. On a previous thread I asked you for a specific plan and you fell apart at the seams and couldn't produce one. On this thread you have again started your typical diatribe of throwing out meaningless information and trying to pass it as conclusive evidence to support your position. Please, try to do a little more research and a little less bloviating when posting your conclusive evidence.

P.S. I'm still waiting for you to post your plan for the Iraq pullout.

Don,
To have a full representation of Kurdish views in the poll , additional interviews in the third governate, Sulaymaniya, were conducted.
Oh....how much fun it is to watch you clown yourself. If you had bothered to look at the poll, you'd have seen that the Kurds were the most pro-American by a wide margin. Are you suggesting that the poll results may be skewed.....too pro-American?
Allow me to retort: BWAAAHAHAHA!

Also, I never said anything about a 'pullout' and I have yet to hear your plan....well....on anything.

As for the rest of your long-winded but utterly empty argument,
It is always incumbent upon the person who makes the statement to back it up. Always.
If I claim that I have a 3 foot tall badger that shaves my legs for me, it's not up to you to prove that I don't.
You say the poll is biased, now back it up if you can and suck it up if you can't.

No, I'm saying that two thirds of the pro American governorates were excluded from the poll. Additional interviews, define that, did they do three extra interviews, five, 500? Once again GS, how about some meaningful information? That is your problem, you read what you want to hear. Slow down, take it one word at a time and you will comprehend.

This thread is about to go the way of its predecessor. I'm gettin' real tired of the borderline insults.

Let's clean it up, guys.

Once again, you read what you want to hear. Your reading comprehension isn't very good. Maybe you should enroll in night classes.

I wrote:
Polls can tell you anything you would like them to say. It's all how they word the questions.

and:
Guess your polls aren't all they are cracked up to be. Here is a link specifically about Gallup polls and how they can change the wording to get the desired outcome.

No place do I see me saying this poll is biased. I never even used the word biased. I said they can worded to get the desired outcome. Yes, I know that is essentially saying biased, but I never used the word or said this poll was biased.

So, going back to your line of thinking.

I claim polls can be biased. Prove me wrong that polls can not be biased. I've already posted one article about how polls can be biased. Show me some shred of anything that says polls can not be biased.
Put up or shut up. I feel as if I'm debating a 4th grader and playing "can to", "can not"
