Yep, I recall 9mm was about $7.99 (box/50) at Walmart.
About 2 years ago, I scored GDHP +P 9mm for about $00.25 a round, and $00.30 38spl +p 135g a round, I spent close to $1K, my 44mag gun money.
Without giving timeframes, just as the ammo started going up, a knowledgeable buddy said the ammo price's are going up again. I said, the ammo has already gone up. He said ammo is going to go up again. I took his word for it, and I'm golden, if you know what I mean.
