Ammo -- 9mm -- gone gone gone (ONLINE BULK)

I'm already working my way through 500 rounds of 45ACP from MagTech that puffs out smoke with every shot...
I had the same experience with their .30 Carbine fodder. I think 50 rounds of that stuff put more grime into my carbine than all the previous rounds it had handled combined! And I mean going back to 1943! I now have a greater appreciation of what black powder shooters deal with.:D

the online wholesaler I get mine from isn't out of all 9mm. He is out of HST's, but I ordered some gold dots...sorry, can't give out my source.;)

ive gone to a couple gun shows this year and both had lots of 9mm amo the last one i went to last week had 500 rnds for 160 bucks of 115 grain fmj wich isnt to bad. the same vendor also had the 147 grain jhp 100 rnds for 20 bucks. what im doing is saving all my brass and going to reload my own eventualy.

When I taught, for 23 years, I reloaded .38 Special, I just could not get a reliable company to reload for me. Pushing the base of the round after you had so called speed loaded? No fun.

This 9mm (which I use now) shortage, and price hike going rampant! Methinks it might be hi Mr. Dillon time.

Try going to your local gun shops they usualy have bulk amo there as well. if u can find a walmart that has 9mm in stock they carry umc 500 rnd bulk for under 50 bucks. my local walmart has 45 acp 40 cal and 9mm in 500 rnd boxes prices vary from caliber and stock is scarce.

Pricewise, this is what I shoot for:
Remington UMC & Federal American Eagle -- $220-$250 per 1000 rounds (pre-shipping)

That works out to $0.22 to $0.25 per round, or about $11 - $12.50 per 50 lot.

I do not buy the cheap(est) stuff as it's not permitted at my range (that is meant to mean S&B, Blazer, and the like).

I just got an email for ATG verifying a partial order fill. I placed the order Saturday night, Feb 21. I ordered 1 box each of 6 various 9mm ammo to test in my new Witness, so I don't know about bulk ammo issues with them. Two items from my order are being dropped because ATG could not get a date from their suppliers. They are:
1 x 50rds - 9mm Fiocchi 147gr FMJ Ammo (9apd) = $12.95
1 x 50rds - 9mm Speer LE Gold Dot 124gr. +P HP Ammo (53617) = $27.95

The others are being shipped and I also got a tracking # from UPS. ATG will refund/credit me for the missing items and associated shipping costs. I would say that ATG lived up to their 9-12 days as promised, during trying times. I have heard much good about ATG and I will definitely order from them again.

FYI- what is being shipped includes:
1 x 50rds - 9mm Speer Lawman 115gr. FMJ Ammo (53615) = $11.95
1 x 50rds - 9mm Fiocchi 124gr Truncated Full Metal Jacket (9apc) = $12.95
1 x 25rds - 9mm Remington Golden Saber 147gr. HP Ammo (gs9mmc) = $14.95
1 x 50rds - 9mm Aguila 124gr. FMJ Ammo () = $12.49

Got the new Natchez catalog today, they were selling 100-rd boxes of 115gr 9mm FMJ for $17 or so ... called and got the same story; the sales guy said they had NO 9mm ammo in stock and didn't know when they would get more ... this is pretty bleak ...

I love Collins reloads, never had one fail, get them whenever I can at the Austin gun show ... but at their website, 100 rds of 9mm is $20.69, shipping is (wait for it!) $16.27!!! ... and since i live in Texas, I have to pay sales tax too ... so 100 rds of 9mm costs just shy of $40. I guess I'll wait for the next gun show .... sigh ...

didn't last long

Today at 6:32 pm you said Dan's has on website and avail. 9mm at 199/1000.....

It's 9:48 and now it says..$199.99 115 gr. FMJ Case 1,250fps. 1,000 rds case. 20 boxes TEMPORARY OUT OF STOCK

Georgia Arms

I have some 9mm Gold Dot HP's on order right now with Georgia Arms. They warn of long waits, but they do their best.I got 1000 rounds of 45 Auto Rim within a week of ordering it.Then again,it's not a real popular round.
Their service is very reliable and they are nice to deal with on the phone-I had a problem caused by UPS and Georgia Arms rectified it in a few days-made me a confirmed customer. And their ammo is good stuff.
