Am I The Only Person NOT Carrying a Sig P239 in .357 Sig ??

239/357 is my current favorite CCW gun, and range gun, too :) :) Believe it or not, it conceals better and shoots better than the Kahr p9 it replaced.

Put me into misc. column. why? I have a 357 sig barrel for my Glock 27. I like this pocket rocket combination a lot. If I don't put the BG down I will at worst leave him/her hearing impaired and with burns from the flames coming out of the Glock 27's 357 Sig barrel. In my area, Southeast Michigan 357 Sig ammunition is cheaper than 40 S&W ammo. I don't know why but that is just the way it is. Regards, Richard

Everytime a new technology, product, gimic, etc comes along the sales people want you to buy it....
For all we know, they are having a sales contest for most P239s sold this month!

Monthly caliber change

Tonite I will take out the 40 barrel and put the 357SIG in my P 239. I change every month to equalize wear on the barrels (I go to range every week). In June I will alternate the 239 with the G-27 depending on wardrobe.;)

I ve got the 239 in .40 cal.

I have considered buying a .357 Sig barrel...just because....but its not real high on my priority list.

I like it.

I'm another 9mm P239 carrier, but I'm thinking about switching to my new P220. The P239, although nice, is really too large for deep concealment, and for the times when concealment isn't a big issue, I'd rather have the larger gun and caliber. Of course, this depends on how well I shoot the P220. :)

I love my Sig P239 .40S&W

I have both a .40S&W barrel and a .357Sig barrel for my P239. After looking at ballistics between the two rounds, I use the .40S&W about 99% of the time! Anyway If I could carry, I would carry my Glock-27, it's just smaller. ;)

I don't carry because I live in MD but I love small guns. I don't yet have the 239. I loved the two that I shot and it is a gun I definately plan to own. However, I don't see buying the .357sig model or conversion barrel.

The first one I shot, and the one I liked best, was in .40s&w. If money was no object I would buy that. However, 9mm is much less expensive and I did like the gun in 9mm too. Also, there are several good defensive loads for 9mm (I like the Federal hydroshok and the Speer Gold Dot especially). With the .40s&w being such a powerful and compact round and the 9mm being so versatile I really don't see the point of the .357sig (expensive, not really any more effective than good 9mm defensive premium ammo or a good .40, no more compact than 9mm,, etc).

I have a 239 in .40.....and like someone else said, have considered the 357 barrel..but just not a high priority. I use my 239 for IPSA...I have to make more mag changes but I sit come out with better scores than quite a few. Do I carry it always...yes..when I'm not carrying my Colt gov't 380 or my K-T P32. Had a P11....but that's another story.

Sig P239 357 Cal

I carry a Sig P239 in the 40 cal. As a concealed pistol, it works well for me. If I am looking to punch neat holes in the paper then its time to shoot my Giles 45 acp. It will shoot circles around most guns.

Nope...

Mine's a P239 9MM. :) I carry mine in a Comp-Tac Undercover, left-hand at that. Makes a very comfortable carry combo.

But, one of my Kel-Tec's is with me more often.
