Am I The Only Person NOT Carrying a Sig P239 in .357 Sig ??

Nope, you're not the only one. But, judging from the other replies here, I must be a real dinosaur. I am carrying a first-year production Colt Lightweight Commander in .45 ACP. It still needs a bit of work, but it is lighter, flatter and more powerful than the gun it replaced. Oh, that gun? A Sig 228.....

No. They are very, very nice indeed. Even so, I traded the two I had in on a couple of USP357c's. Like those even better. YMMV.

I had a 239 in 357 Sig and really liked it. But now I carry either a H&K P7M8, P7M13, or a Keltec P-32 depending on circumstance.

Mine's a 9mm in a Galco Jackass. Feed it Fed H/S, Corbons, or Gold Dots, 124's in winter, 115's in summer. I shoot it well and I don't feel under gunned with a 9. YMMV> M2

Not me!!!
I carry a very small, neat little package called the Glock 26.

357 sig ammo is not any more expensive than 40 ammo these days. I bought my defence ammo fro each from a shop and speer gold dot cost the same in each caliber as does blazzer and winchester white box ammo. Plus I reload so I don't care. I carry my 239 off duty in a blade tech inside the waist band holster. I don't know why you guys are having problems getting ammo. I work in bush alaska and we have ammo. The 357 sig is better than the 40 in every way. It is more powerfull and accurate. Accuracy is what realy sold me on this little gun and yes it is little. it is easily concealed while I am weaing jeans and an untucked T shirt. It is not a pocket rocket. It will go bang every time (that is more than can be said of KAHRS) Also da sa is easier to fire accuratly.
The sig 239 in 357 sig is an awsome carry gun . I also like my glock 31.

I intend to go into harms way.

Going out nice... Walther PPK .380 shoulder holster

Going to questionable surroundings...Beretta Cougar .45ACP on the hip

Expecting the end-of-the-world (or a reasonable facsimile thereof)... and not caring about whether or not its concealed--Springfield 1911 .45

'though I'd like to shoot the Sig in .357.

Triggers exist to be pulled... again and again.

I had the 357SiG (and 40S&W) but I just couldn't find a place for the calibers in my lineup. The 357SiG was fun to shoot, but so is 357MAG and it's a bunch cheaper and easier to find. The 40S&W did nothing for me. So I traded the SiG2340 for another S&W 357 revolver. :D

Not when I can pick up a 100 rounds of 9 for around 10 bucks...I'll stick with my P7M8 but if I could carry another kind of gun...and it had to be a sig...it would most definitely be a 220....and if I could carry anything my heart desired, it would be my C&S Hi-power......

>>Flame away, but IMHO the .357 Sig is of true benefit only to
>>the vendors of ammo and arms, i.e. an answer to a question
>>only the Marketing Department would advance.

No, that can't be true. Gun people are too conservative. Yes, marketing influences, but you can't argue that the .357 Sig is a great round. The Secret Service switched to this round, and they tend to be very serious people. (They use a 124g JHP Speer load.)

Let's see:

1. more accurate than the 40 (I know I expect to be flamed.)

2. feeds better than the 40

3. very powerful round. Trying to duplicate a 125g revolver .357 is a fantastic idea.

Don't own one, but have shot a few. I like very much.

Doesn't Hardin/Gunkid favor this combo? Sounds like a good reason to get one. I'll have to stick with my G27 for now because I'm too poor for another CCW.

Hey folks,

In my neck o' woods, most of the folks here are carrying the Glocks or SIG in 228,229 and 220. I'm carrying a 228.

The 239 is a nice little gun though..
