Consider this...

About 50 years ago an idiot loudmouth named Joe McArthy started yelling about the Commies infiltrating the American way of life with the intention of bringing it down.

Because he was a loudmouth idiot... he damaged the real effort to protect the nation against insertion of agents and idealology of the Communists.

Now consider this...

Since that same time... the school systems and the news media began to deteriorate, creating a nation of fat ignorant "pigs" who repeatedly vote for Kerry, Kennedy, Pelosi, Biden and Feinstein, and who have no respect for the values that made America the greatest nation in history.

Since that time... the liberal influence has grown until this nation of "sheeple" have become more and more dependent on the "Nanny State Govmint" to care for them.

The communist/socialist trends in this country have all but masked the true United States, and what it has stood for, in the minds and hearts of it's people.

Now for the last 50 years the Constitution and more especially the second ammendment has been under attack.

Question

Doesn't it seem that the Cold War ended pretty quietly and with very little resistance?

Doesn't it seem that the new Russian "mafia" has taken over syndicated crime with the greatest of ease?

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO WONDERS AT THIS STATE OF AFFAIRS??...

I do know that the KGB is in FULL EFFECT today in Russia under the name of "The Roof". It is still incredibly powerful and it controls much of their life. I have many friends from and in Russia that tell me this.

I don't follow the Russian Mafia, but if they did, I wouln't be surprised. Mafia types tend to be rather competent.

McCarthy was right, although his tactics may have been heavy-handed. The reason he is hated and scorned today is because he was anticommunist and was a conservative who fought without apology against communism and socialism, which is a somewhat diluted form of communism.

In the eyes of today's leftist/liberal/socialist sheeple , that makes him worse than a child molester.
 
No, he's hated because he used scare tactics to justify hunting down people for disagreeing with him, for expressing their constitutional right to free speech and civil protest, and for daring to imply that god did not belong in a government regardless of whether or not it was communist.

"May" have been heavy handed? Yeah go ahead and call me a demosocialist because we all know that anyone that doesn't support the hard line bible thumping republican conservatives has got to be a communist in hiding. :rolleyes:

Sirs,

***America will always be the GREATEST nation in history... but ..... only if we/you accept the valuable lessons of our historical past.

When our Forefathers took on the might of the British empire and won they had the opportunity to look at all that had gone before. They realised the reasons for the Revolution [ in the fragile time following the victory] and had one of the most WONDERFUL documents ever put together by a young nation, "The Constitution".

To PROTECT us folk as a nation this document [set in stone] was to be our guiding light to prevent the likes of those subversive folk mentioned above from ever undermining the God given rights that our brothers and sisters fought and died for in 1776 and afterwards.

WE MUST NEVER let it become a living document subject to change at the whim of politicians and there personal agenda's!

I have experienced the divide and conquer of the United Kingdoms anti gun lobby. YET... [allegedly] they still have major gun crimes with the free flow of firearms from the eastern block and its open borders?

The investigation into Communism by Joseph McCarthy had nothing to do with patriotic duty nor defending the homeland. What it had to do with was taking the heat off him so he could run for re-election. He was being investigated for tax offenses and for taking bribes from Pepsi-Cola Company. So the idea was to come up with communist subversives working in the Democratic administration. He claimed he had a "secret" list of subversives who were communists who were feeding information to to thier comrades.

The only problem is that the list was actually published in 1946 by the State Department after screening several thousand employees. Some on the list had been mebers of facist organizations and also had drinking and sexual deviency problems. If Mr. McCarthy had been an employee of the State Department he would have been on the list due to drinking and sexual preferences (homosexuality)...lol . Mr Hoover at the FBI fed McCarthy lots of information also, wonder if they were dating...lol

So what McCarthy did was wag the dog to get himself out of political hotwater. Many innocent Americans lost thier livelyhood because they chose to excercise thier rights as Americans. When McCarthy started to investigate the Army Eisenhower put his foot down and put the wheels in motion to dump him.

McCarthy was nothing more than a petty politician who chose to have power by intimidation and fear, smearing folks name through innuendo and rumor. He eventually drank enough and pickled himself.

McCarthy=0

Thats why politicians rate lower than used car salesmen on some polls.

Ann Coulter is a propagandist along with Michael Moore and a whole bunch of other talking heads...whom if we got rid of would cut down on carbon dioxide emissions and save oxygen for more valuable folks.

As far as im concerened he is todays equivilant of J. Kerry, H. Dean, T. Kennedy and the rest of them, meaning generally, with all of the ridiculas accusations that they toss around. It has become pretty obvious to me that they dont mind giving information to the enemy as long as it gets thier faces and names on T.V. see ya

how may communist spies were tried and prosecuted because of the McCarthy hearings?

McCarthy once told a fellow Senator he had proof that some of these people were spies, The Senator held his hand out for the proof but never got it.

So we had the Verona Project, what I am wondering is how many moles they didnt give up? How many people listed in the Verona Files were tried and convicted of spying? The Verona files were unsubstantiated by any hard evidence. How many names on the list were simply put in as misdirection by soviet agents.

Kim Philby was a with the British diplomatic mission in Washington in the late 40s. he had access to the Verona Reports...lol.. Now we know Philby was working for the Soviets... wondered how big a laugh the Soviets got out of that. and if they were still using the codes they were changed and the codes were probably used to feed misinformation.

There is no statute of limitations on espionage......

The Soviet intelligence agencies were years ahead of us and were also fond of giving disinformation. There are as many critics of the Verona papers as there are supporters

If you have any information of someone prosecuted and convicted of espionage due to the Verona Project I would welcome the information.
